Dearest Mother of Perpetual Help,
Thank you for praying for our family throughout 2019. We have been blessed in health and wealth. All these are made possible through your intercession to your Son our Lord Jesus Christ. As 2020 draws near I do not know what is to come about except to ask for your kind prayers and to lead us along the way. We love you Mother Mary, we trust you and we honour you always.
Your Loving Daughter.

Dear Mother Mary,
Thank you for helping me in my Maths. I had failed twice and had given up. I wrote a petition to you and with your help I tried my best and scored 72 marks. I want to thank you for guiding me through my Primary 5 journey. Most of all, thank you for giving me strength and resilience to continue.
Your Loving Daughter.

Dearest Mother Mary,
A few weeks ago, I came to you and asked for your intercession and prayers to guide my better half to search for a job. I have been coming to you since I was a young girl. I have never been too involved in church activities but praying to you have always given me peace and strength. A few days ago, we heard the good news of him securing an amazing job and I knew my prayers had been answered. Thank you, Dearest Mother for always guiding us in everything we do. Please continue to bless our whole family with good health, happiness and nothing but love.
Your Son & Daughter.

Dear Mother of Perpetual Help,
My wife was diagnosed with pulmonary hypertension, an incurable and progressive heart and lung condition in July this year. Typically, this meant she would have to live with the condition affecting her breathing and heart for life. Shortly after this devastating news, I became resolved to become a Catholic after you and our Lord Jesus called me to the Church.
Then on 20th December- 13 days after attending the Lourdes Experience 2019, and approaching the second week of our Saturday Novena devotion – I was overjoyed that your answer to my prayers for my wife was a resounding “Yes”. Doctors were surprised to find that her heart returned to normal size and her pulmonary blood pressure was normal. While the doctors are being cautious and wish to conduct more tests on her to find out what had happened, I am resolved to view this event as a healing miracle. Pray for us Our Blessed Mother that we will spend the rest of our lives proclaiming the healing miracle your intercession has brought.
Your Son and Daughter.

Dearest Mother Mary,
This is a letter of thanksgiving and gratitude for the year 2019. My husband had found a job after being jobless for a few years. My older daughter had passed her medical studies and will be starting her job soon. My second daughter is doing well in her nursing job and the hospital is sending her to do her advanced nursing soon. My youngest son is doing well in his 1st year in the university. I also thank you Mother Mary for the peace, harmony, love, patience and understanding with one another in the family. We could not have achieved all these without you praying for us. We place our trust in you. Please continue to pray for us.
Your Loving Daughter.

Dear Mother Mary,
Thank you for bringing my husband and me closer to you and God. We started attending the Novena in May this year and I come almost every week unless I am overseas. Thank you for showing us your faithfulness and abundant graces this year. Although I am trying to conceive, I know you will not leave us unaided. I am grateful that you have shown my husband your love and God’s goodness – my husband keeps encouraging me not to lose faith and reminds me that God has a plan for us. Sometimes I feel my husband’s faith is even stronger than mine and this is truly amazing because I was the one who brought him to the Novena. He was always a free thinker whereas I believed in God. Continue to watch over us. Thank you, Mother for everything you have done for us.
Your Daughter.

Dearest Mother,
It took me a year to thank you for all the blessings and graces that I received through your intercession. My 2 children and I were chased out of our home in 2011 by the one whom I married and thought would be the protector of us. From then I was separated from my eldest son for a year while my daughter and I stayed in my sister’s place for nearly a year but was asked to move out because I’m a Catholic and was considered a hindrance for their own rituals. So, I rented a room near my workplace and stayed there and got back my son from Boys’ Town as he had to put up there not for bad conduct but because of the shelter issue for my daughter and me. During this crucial period of time, you have shown me that you are ‘Our Mother of Perpetual Help’. The countless times that I came to you just to cry in front of your image… and you kept me safe and never let me go astray. Now we are blessed with a new home (a 5-room flat which we never imagined would happen) and my son is performing well in Poly and my daughter is in her Sec 3 with good people around. We are not a broken family but united in Christ through your powerful intercession. Many people thought I could not bring up the children in the straight path once a family is broken and financially struggling. But hardly do they know that with God nothing is impossible. He can work miracles in our life.
Mary my dearest Mother thank you for being my shadow and constantly checking and tracking my ways towards our Lord. Thank you, sweet Mother.
Your Child.

Dear Mother of Perpetual Help,
In the middle of the night in late October this year I fell from the top of the staircase when I lost my bearing and balance while trying to find the toilet at my son’s place in Germany. The noise was so loud it woke up the family and also his neighbour. I sustained open wounds, bruises & swelling on my left shoulder, left knee, right & left hands & left cheek. Thankfully no cracks nor broken bones. Now the wounds are healed completely. I am in my seventies and I strongly believe you were there for me just as you were when I was driving my grandchildren back from school 2 days before the Chinese New Year in 2018 when I had a heart attack. Back then you answered my prayer and I was able to get my grandchildren home safely before I had to be admitted into hospital for stent surgery the next day.
Words cannot express my gratitude for your concern & intercession with your Son Jesus for the blessings bestowed upon me and my loved ones over the year.
Your Ever-Grateful Catholic Son
