Youth and Young Adults

The Redemptorists at the Novena Church have been pioneers in the field of ministry to young people both in Catholic schools and in the Shrine.

The Goals of Youth Ministry in Novena Church are stated as follows:

i) to empower youth to live as disciples of Jesus Christ in our Redemptorist tradition;
ii) to draw them into responsible participation in Christ’s mission;
iii) to nurture spiritual and human growth.

All those involved in youth ministry, both Redemptorists and lay collaborators, are committed to the guidelines affirmed in Keeping Communion, the Archdiocesan Code of Conduct, and working with young people.

The youth ministry of Novena Church was founded in the late 1970’s. They meet every Friday at 7:30pm for prayer and fellowship. Email for more information.

The Redemptorist Mission Team is led by the Redemptorist (Congregation of the Most Holy Redeemer) who in collaboration with full-time lay staff, provides human and spiritual formation in the form of ‘school missions’ and retreats especially for Catholic schools. Email for more information.

The annual Novena Youth Rally (NYR) is an event hosted by both Redemptorist Youth Ministry and Redemptorist Mission Team. Do check out NYR at Novena Youth Rally or “Events” for updates!
