Thanksgiving – 27 Apr 2019

  1. Dearest Mother Mary,

I would like to thank you for helping me to do well in my urgent telephone installation project in Singapore. Thank you for your guidance, strength and confidence that you have blessed me to complete the project successfully.

Your Daughter.

  1. Dearest Mother of Perpetual Help,

Thank you so much for interceding on my behalf and helping me to secure a new job after months of searching. My former company called me out of the blue to ask me to return and join them. Please give me the wisdom and faith as I embark on this new journey.

Your Catholic Son.

  1. Dearest Mother,

I would like to thank you for your powerful intercession for my father’s conversion in his last hour. I have been coming to Novena to pray for his conversion for the past ten years until I lost hope and thought that this might not be his calling. While he was very sick in bed, I came to you again out of desperation. After two Novenas, my father agreed to be baptised. I was overjoyed, I still cannot believe it all worked out as smoothly as it did. Mother Mary, thank you for bringing my prayers to the Lord and I have learnt not to give up hope. I should trust in the Lord with all my heart and in His time not mine.

Your Grateful Daughter.

  1. Dear Mother Mary,

I am writing this letter as a future grandfather, my very own grandchild will be due in December 2019. Words cannot express my joy and happiness when my son-in-law called me from Belgium to inform me that I was going to be a grandfather. What he did not know was that he called on the day of my late father’s 45th death anniversary. A life lost 45 years ago and a life to be gained just as dearly in the immediate future. I am in tears as I write this thanksgiving letter. The day also coincides with my brother’s birthday and how difficult it must be for my brother not to be able to celebrate his birthday all these years without thinking of our dad. The good part of this letter is that my brother will also be a grand-father twice over as both his daughters-in-law are due to deliver their babies this April. Imagine my joy as the eldest in the family to be told that I will also be a future grandfather. I have waited a long time for this news. I am 74 and I have been coming to the Novena since the 1960s when my late father would take the boys for an outing every week to the Novena Church. A joy I still partake weekly to this day. Thank you, Mother Mary, as always you know best and have always answered my prayers one way or another no matter how long it may take.

Your Non-Catholic Son.

  1. Dearest Mother of Perpetual Help,

I want to thank you for the past 5 years when I was in financial difficulty. Finally, it is coming to an end and I want to thank you for giving me the strength to continue to live on and always reminding me not to fear.

  1. Dearest Mother Mary,

I have been attending Novena Devotion for the past 10 years. I submitted more petitions than thanksgiving letters. Today, I just want to thank you that my family is healthy and happy. I can smile every day and lead a wonderful life and I am so grateful to you and your Son, Jesus for always protecting us.
