Thanksgiving – 24 Nov 2018

  1. Dearest Mother Mary,

I want to thank you for your intercession. I have completed my DBA, and with one year no payment of fees, that was a great help to me

Your Child.

  1. Dearest Mother of Perpetual Help,

Thank you for interceding for us. We came to you to pray before you. With your help and intercession, my son got admission into primary one. Thank you, Mother, for all the blessings we have in our life through your intercession.

Your Loving Daughter.

  1. Dearest Mother,

My son’s trip to Malaysia for work was without incident. Thank you for keeping him safe during his travels.

Your Grateful Daughter.

  1. Dear Mother Mary,

Thank you for helping me get through my first 2 days of the “A” levels. Thank you for helping me pray to Jesus as I sat through my papers. My Maths paper has always been fearful and dreadful to me, but this time round I was able to do a lot more than before. I know this is possible only with Yours and Jesus’ help. Thank you for helping me to complete my general paper.

Your Grateful Child.

  1. Dearest Mother,

Thank you for your powerful intercession. My daughter is now free from cancer. The scans show miraculously that the tumour is gone. I believe this is through your prayers, O Immaculate Virgin Mary, Mother of God.

  1. Dearest Mother of Perpetual Help,

It seemed like just yesterday I have prayed for a son. This 19th November he will be 21 and is no longer a child. Mother, a big thank you for your intercession for God’s gift of this wonderful son who is my only child. And, for your constant presence, love, blessings and intercessions that he’s grown into a fine young adult. He is now in the University and no doubt, while I do pray for him to do well in his studies, there in my heart lies a belief that perhaps one day he will be of service to our Lord. If it’s God’s Holy Will, my dearest Mother, with your blessing, I do pray that my son will be called into the Redemptorist Order. Mother, please help him to live his life according to what God wants of him. Whichever path God has planned for him, please watch over him and protect him in his life, and bless him with holiness.

Your Grateful Daughter.

  1. Dear Mother Mary,

I have been offered a chance for a promotion. It is a miracle I never thought was possible. But I know that it is all due to your constant intercession that this opportunity was presented to me. The support from my colleagues was encouraging and the happiness from friends and family show the amount of love I have.

Your Child.

  1. Dear Mother,

Thank you for blessing me and my wife with the gift of bearing life. Although we are blessed with a baby boy, my wife has been going through complications during her pregnancy and our little baby might be born with a mild birth defect. We humbly ask of you, our dearest Mother, to intercede and pray for my wife’s delivery in February 2019 and for a healthy baby. We have been here attending your devotion since the start of the pregnancy and we hope that you will continue to grant us your blessings. Help us by guiding us through this journey of birth and parenthood.

Your Loving Son.

  1. Dear Mother Mary,

Thank you for your timely intercession during my difficult times this academic year. As a preschool teacher, I had to meet different needs of the children and the various demands of parents. All of it went smoothly and with a lot of appreciation. Thank you, Jesus and thank you Mother. Please continue to pray for all of us.

Your Loving Daughter.

  1. Dear Mother of Perpetual Help,

I thank you sincerely for the many blessings that you have showered on me over the past weeks. I have been working as a bridging engineer in the army. Ever since writing my petition 7   weeks ago, my life has improved for the better with your grace. I thank you for helping me during the times when I felt like giving up, when my knees and ankles were hurting so much. And, especially when I had to talk and discuss issues with my PC and OC, who were very difficult to work with. These past weeks were probably one of the worst few weeks of my life by far. However, every week when I came to the novena to ask for your protection and guidance, I promised myself to carry the rosary everywhere I went and life seemed to be a lot better when I called upon your name in times of crises. I thank you from the bottom of my heart for your unending support throughout these difficult times and I pray that you would continue to guide and bless me.

Your Catholic Son.

  1. Dear Mother,

It’s been almost 3 months since this miracle happened to our family. It took me a while to finish this letter as I became very emotional every time I sat down to write it. We were happily roaming Legoland during a 2-week vacation, when my mum felt pain in her chest and she was hurriedly brought to the First Aid Room. The doctor there advised that we needed to rush her to the nearest hospital. Upon reaching the hospital, they did an ECG and doctor asked us to decide as time was essential that she had to undergo an angioplasty as she was having a massive heart attack. They wasted no time. While waiting outside, one of the staff called us back to A&E and informed us that they were trying to revive her with a defibrillator. I almost fainted but with so much fear I still remembered to call you Our Mother of Perpetual Help and clung on to the hope you give in the words of The Memorare.

Hugging my 2 sisters and our Dad, I kept on reciting again and again The Memorare. I prayed with conviction that never was it known that anyone who fled to your protection, implored your help or sought your intercession was left unaided. After more than 30 minutes, they came out with our Mum on the stretcher…. I knew Mother Mary, you were with us.

We were relieved when the doctor came out and led us to a room and showed the video of the procedure. He was the best in his field and so reassuring. My mum stayed in the ICU for 6 days and 2 days in the ward. A stranger offered us his home for free as we had to shift the whole family to JB to make sure we are all together during the visiting hours. We knew of good cab drivers who would help transport my family to and from the hospital. I had seen God’s hand working to ease our burden in this situation. On the 31st August, we reached home. My siblings and I can’t help but cry that we are finally home and we are together. God carried us through. Mother Mary, I can’t thank you enough. We would not have survived this ordeal without your intercession. We will never get tired of telling this wondrous miracle you and your Son, Jesus have done for our family.

Your Ever-Grateful Daughter.

  1. Dear Mother Mary,

When I heard my daughter’s father-in-law was diagnosed with lung cancer and had a lump in the brain, we were worried. I prayed the rosary to ask you to intercede to Jesus to give him more years and that his lung cancer would not be serious and his brain scan be clear. A few weeks later, the brain scan result showed that it is benign and no surgery required. That was a big relief for the family. Dearest Mother, thank you for hearing our prayer.
