Dearest Mother,
I came to you 8 weeks ago seeking for a job and direction in life. I was a fresh graduate, lost and clueless about my next step in life. I prayed for a job and to my surprise, I received several emails and calls for interviews. I also had the privilege of receiving a job offer, only to turn it down in the hope for something better. I am now waiting for my final interview at a firm I would love to join and I know that this would not be possible without you because this firm has been out of my reach. Never in my wildest dreams would I know I might work there and now I’m due for an interview with the 5 directors. Thank you, Mother Mary, for being with me. I was a non-believer but now I can proudly proclaim how wonderful you are.

Dear Mother Mary,
I just want to thank you for your intercession during my troubled times as a victim of a massive financial scam. In the week leading to your birthday, I was blessed with a return of a tiny sum to me as well as a new work opportunity. My problems are far from over and there are more hurdles to cross. But I am no longer a nervous wreck nearing to suicide as I was a few months ago. I relish the serenity of the Novena Church and am grateful for the prayers for my intentions from the priests. Thank you, Mother Mary, for your compassion and do not let go of my petition.

Dearest Mother,
I have been a devotee ever since my father introduced me to you when I was a little girl. He passed on to me the Novena booklet that I always hold on to whenever I am faced with sadness and fear. I still continue the devotion even now that my father is already with the Lord. When I was at the peak of my career and was busy attending to my family, I suddenly stopped going to the Novena. I still go to Church every Sunday but couldn’t find the time to come for the Novena. As years passed, I struggled with indecisiveness, insecurity and betrayal along the way. These brought me back to you. Dear Mother, I recited the Novena and prayed to you to help ease the burden and I felt your loving arms around me. I accepted my shortcomings and I prayed for the Lord’s forgiveness. I attended Novena again. After which, I received peace of mind and I know in my heart that You are with me. When I felt all alone, helpless and so hurt, you carried me in your arms once again and gave me strength to endure the pain. I learned to forgive and to trust. I thank you Mother, for you have also touched my husband with your love and mercy. Both of us have been attending the Novena and now my son is also joining us. You never abandon us, never forsake us. Thank you for all the blessings we have received through your intercession.

It was such a wonder when I came in today and heard the first petition similar to one of the petitions that I wrote to you last week. I would like to think it is you speaking to me, asking everyone to pray for me. I know that I am at peace when I entrust everything to you and your Son, Jesus. For you desire the best for me and all things will work for the good of those who love you.

Thank you for answering my prayer. My son has been wrongfully accused following a complaint at his workplace. The incident has caused him and the family a lot of distress. Mother, you heard our prayers and though my son is a lapsed Catholic, you did not ignore him. We know it is through your intercession to Jesus that all things ended well for him. Thank you, Mother Mary.

Dearest Mother,
I have received the gift of healing and hope. I live abroad and come to visit my family here every few months. My daughter introduced me to the Novena and each time I visit Singapore with my husband, we will never miss attending the Novena. I am suffering from a terminal illness but I believe in the power of God’s love and mercy.

I want to take this time to thank you for being my Mother. I have done so many bad things and sinned so many times and sometimes I moved away from God. During this period of time, I felt so lost, full of regret and sick of myself. But you helped me to pick myself up and after praying to you for your intercession. You brought me closer to God. Dearest Mother Mary,
Thank you for protecting me and my family. A rosary was given to me when I was baptized in 1997. It has been hanging on my rear-view mirror for the past 20 years. Recently I encountered a few incidents that the front car suddenly braked and I almost ran into it. I know that this rosary has been my protector. You are also my role model to be a good loving and caring mother to my child and be an understanding and strong woman to manage my family and career.

Dearest Mother,
This letter is long overdue. I want to thank you for protecting my son. In May this year I brought my 9-year-old son to school. When we alighted from the bus, my son was hit by an e-scooter. The rider managed to stop but my son was dragged for a short distance although he did not fall. I am relieved that he did not suffer any injury. Thank you, Mother, for being with him.
