1. Dear Mother Mary, please pray for my two very good friends, who are currently in a very dark place. Although they know Jesus by name, they have not yet developed a true relationship with Him. I ask that you will lead them to Jesus because I believe that through a relationship with Him, they will once again find hope and trust.
2. Dearest Mother, I have been coming to the Novena devotion occasionally and have always found great comfort each time I come. I never thought that I would be writing to you one day. My sister-in-law is in greatest need of your intercession. She has been in a coma since January, having gone into a cardiac arrest after an asthma attack. Please let her wake up soon and regain her abilities.
3. Dear Mother Mary, help me to ace my exams so that I can do well for my PSLE this year, and get into a secondary school of my choice.
4. Mother, I pray for my family members. I especially pray for my children and for their studies.
5. Dear Mother Mary, please intercede for my friend who will be undergoing a surgery for colon cancer.
6. Mother Mary, I received 2 job application rejections last week. I am feeling down and worried that I cannot find a new job. Grant me peace and to trust the Lord that He will see me through the difficult times. Please help me to keep my faith strong.
7. Dear Mother, I pray that my fiancé is able to forgive his father for leaving the family when he was a child. Please intercede to your Son, that my fiancé will be able to let go of the hurts, anger and disappointments of the past. Let him be a truly free beloved son of God and able to receive God’s graces freely.
8. Dear Mother of Perpetual Help, I pray for my cousin, who is going through chemotherapy. Please accompany her on this terrible journey, and may she and her family grow in faith and return to Church. I also pray for all those who are sick, lonely, depressed and facing difficulties in the world.
9. Dearest Mother Mary, please pray for my marriage, which is on the rocks. My husband has fallen for someone else at work, although he does not know that I am aware. It has been emotionally draining pretending that I am not aware, and I am experiencing anxiety attacks. Please help me as I am at my wits’ end.
10. Dear Mother, please pray for my son to come back to God wholeheartedly. He has strayed from the Catholic faith and embraced new age beliefs.
11. Please intercede for me to meet someone with whom I can share my life. Help me to trust in God’s loving plan that I might meet the person that God has prepared for me.
12. Dearest Mother, my relationship with my sister-in-law is like that of a stranger. Please pray that our relationship will improve and that we can care for each other.
