Thanksgiving – 17 February 2024

1. Dearest Mother,

Thank you very much for your guidance and help. Although the journey has not been easy, I have finally completed my Master’s degree. Many thanks for giving me the strength.

Your Loving Child.

2. Dear Mother,

I am thankful that in another 3 months I will be baptised. I am grateful for the approval and blessings of both my parents concerning my baptism this year.

Your Loving Daughter.

3. Dearest Mother Mary,

I cannot thank you enough for the love you have showered upon my family and me through the years. I have been suffering from a medical condition that causes a rumbling noise in my ears, and doctors have said that there is no medical cure for it. I have continued my daily morning novena devotion to you. Reciting the Memorare always gives me a sense of hope and optimism.  The booming and rumbling noise has suddenly stopped! I am in total awe of this phenomenal experience, which is nothing short of a miracle. My gratitude and thanks for your intercession.

Your Ever-Grateful Daughter.

4. Dearest Mother,

Thank you for my current job in Singapore.

Your Grateful Child.

5. Dearest Mother of Perpetual Help,

Thank you for watching over my mother. Through your intercession, she had a smooth surgery to remove a tumour.

Your Loving Son.

6. Dearest Mother,

I was diagnosed with stage 2 cancer last year during an admission for a neck issue. Fortunately, the incidental finding meant an early detection of the cancer.  I had to go through 33 sessions of radiotherapy and 7 sessions of chemotherapy, and was warned about the potential side-effects. I was at a loss and depressed, and almost thought of suicide to end it all. Fortunately, with your help, I realised that fear doesn’t come from God. I began praying the rosary, attending Novena devotions and evening Masses, and that truly helped me navigate through my ordeal. This year, I successfully completed the treatments with minimal side-effects and I could eat without difficulty throughout. Mother, I express my heartfelt gratitude for your intercession, love and care.

Your Grateful Son.

7. Dear Mother of Perpetual Help,

I came to your shrine last week troubled and uncertain, and asked for your help in my career.  I could not believe that within one week things have changed because of your intercession to our Lord Jesus. I was offered a new and bigger role in my company, and I am now more confident to excel and contribute better. I know this is truly through your help, guidance and intercession, and I want to sincerely express my heartfelt thanks to you for watching over me.

Your Catholic Son.

8. Dear Mother Mary,

My close friend had a slight bleeding in her 8th week of pregnancy. I earnestly prayed to you and your Son, Jesus, to bless and keep safe both mother and child. It is through your intercession that they are both safe now. Once again, dearest Mother, thank you for your intercession.

Your Loving Daughter.

9. Dearest Mother,

Thank you for your intercession for me and my family. By God’s grace and your intercession, my husband has been reunited with God and our family, after 8 months of separation. We are so humbled and touched by this beautiful miracle. Thank you for bringing us closer to Jesus, and journeying with us through good times and tough times.

Your Loving Child.

10. Dearest Mother Mary,

I am writing to thank you for your intercession. I wrote a petition asking for help when my friend was diagnosed with cancer. Now, her tumour is almost gone and she is doing better. Thank you, Mother, for supporting her and her family during their toughest period. Thank you sincerely from the bottom of my heart.

Your Daughter.

11. Dearest Mother,

Thank you for answering my prayers and for guiding, and showing me how to be your daughter. I have never experienced so much joy in my life before. Thank you for being such a wonderful mother to me.

Your Loving Child.

12. Dearest Mother Mary,

Thank you for listening to me as I pray for your intercession. Although my prayers are not yet answered, I hear God’s voice telling me to be patient. Thank you for helping me feel that God is by my side in my most difficult moments even till now. I will continue to pray to you for your intercession and to God while waiting patiently.

Your Dearest Child.
