Thanksgiving – 25 Jan 2020

1. Dearest Mother of Perpetual Help,

Thank you for letting me keep my unborn child, for letting everything fall into place. I am forever grateful to you and will keep my promises to you.

2. Dear Mother Mary,

Thank you for guiding me through my PSLE and interceding for me so that I could enter a Catholic school of my choice.

3. Dearest Mother Mary,

I want to thank you for interceding for my aunt in Australia. She was suffering from post-surgery pain for 12 months. I have been praying for her every day and I asked for your intercession to ease her pain. My prayers were answered, her pain has stopped since 1^st January 2020 and now she is feeling more comfortable. I know that it is through your intercession that her pain is gone.

4. Dearest Mother Mary,

As we are approaching the middle of January 2020, I have so much to be thankful for. I thank you for blessing my husband and me, by allowing me to become an expectant mother, even though the doctor said it might be difficult for me to conceive and would not be able to conceive so soon. Thank you for giving us this gift of life and I pray that you will continue to watch over us. I pray that the baby will be safe and healthy.

5. Dear Mother of Perpetual Help,

Thank you once again for listening to my prayers. I have written in three times to grant me courage, wisdom and poise to go through my practical driving test. I have finally passed and obtained my driving licence and now I can fulfill what I have always wanted to be able to fetch my mum around and whenever possible to the Novena Church every Saturday.

6. Dearest Mother Mary,

Thank you for answering my desperate prayer for my brother-in-law’s recovery from a severe illness. He was in ICU for months in London and was hanging on for his life. I immediately prayed to you in quiet, patiently and confidently waiting for his return to health. After months of anxiety among the family members, he has finally recovered and you have sent him safely home to Melbourne today. Mother, thank you for answering my prayers. The whole family from Singapore to England, America and Hong Kong are giving thanks to you for the wonderful blessing to bring him back to his home.

7. Dear Mother Mary,

Thank you for praying for my husband and giving us a second chance to live together. Thank you for the strength and courage to face his sickness.

8. Dearest Mother,

I have been praying for the reconciliation of my mother and brother who have been unhappy with each other. I prayed that they would at least get together for our Chinese New Year reunion dinner. I just received a call from my brother that he will be coming back to join the family for the reunion dinner. Thank you, Mother, for your intercession to make this happen.

9. Dear Mother of Perpetual Help,

I am writing this thanksgiving on behalf of my friend. My friend had been involved in an accident and we are thankful that God had sent many angels to protect us as we journey through the process of recovery from this accident. It has been stressful and worrying but through your intercession we managed to get through.

10. Dearest Mother,

Thank you for helping me to find my old iphone which I had accidentally left on the tour bus in China. Thank you for also showing me the way to find a Catholic Church in China allowing me to have a short period of adoration. When I was lost, I prayed to you for guidance and hence remained calm throughout. Truly I know that the peace granted to me is through your intercession. Thank you always for your love and for drawing us ever closer to your Son, Jesus.

11. Dearest Mother Mary,

I never believed that my prayers were powerful enough to be heard but today I realized that they didn’t have to be. All I needed was to ask from the depths of my heart and to trust   that you will hear me. I asked for your intercession and Jesus’s help and almost within the next half an hour, my pleas were heard. Thank you, Mother Mary and your Son, Jesus Christ, for answering my prayers.
