I am writing this letter with a heart full of gratitude and thanksgiving. I am grateful for all the blessings you have bestowed upon me, especially in the past few years while I was struggling with a drug addiction. Your intercession, love and maternal care have helped me through the darkest times in my life and helped me turn back to the faith. I am now on the journey towards redemption with your guidance. I am starting a new chapter in my life. I have a new job that has good prospects and salary. I will be getting married soon. These are all blessings that I could not have achieved without your help.
Your Loving Son.
2. Dearest Mother,
Last month I received news that my blood test showed abnormalities in the cancer marker reading. The first thought that came to my mind was to turn to you for your help to intercede and pray for God’s mercy and healing. I have been a bad daughter as I had stopped coming to Novena Church for many years. Coming back to your shrine has brought immense inner peace to me and I know I am in good hands. With your intercession and by the grace of God, the results of my scan and scope turned out well and miraculously no cancer was detected. I cannot thank God enough for giving you to us as our Mother. Thank you once again, my most loving and caring Mother.
Your Grateful Daughter.
3. Dear Mother, thank you for all the blessing in our life. You helped my family overcome all our daily struggles.
4. Dearest Mother,
Words alone cannot thank you enough for how you have been there to protect and help me. I was facing so many trials and tribulations but you were there to journey with me.
Your Grateful Child.
5. I have prayed so hard for good grades and you have helped me through my exams. Today, my results were released and I am so grateful. Thank you for giving me the strength to do it all.
Your Daughter.
6. Dear Mother Mary,
I just received some good news about daughter-in-law. The oncologist informed that her cancer markers have dropped significantly. Thank you for keeping her in prayer.
Your Loving Daughter.
7. Dearest Mother Mary,
Thank you for the speedy recovery of my wife and granddaughter from Covid and protecting all our family members from the Covid virus.
Your Faithful Non-Catholic Daughter.
8. Dear Mother,
During the time of PSLE DSA Trials we reflected back on when our son failed in getting a place at a top Catholic boys’ school. He failed to get enough points again in his PSLE. We were heartbroken and settled for a school which was nearby but never as our top choice. 5 months has passed and he did well in school and became a model student with straight As and also a key player for the school football team. He is also shortlisted for leadership roles and is enjoying himself immensely in school. Our daughter got a place in a Catholic girls’ school for Primary 1. We thank you for the blessings and we trust that the Lord’s plan is always better than our wants. God knows what is best for His children.
Your Faithful Catholic Family.
9. Dearest Mother Mary,
We wrote to you over the past few months seeking your blessings and intercession for our third pregnancy as there were some initial concerns with the baby during early ultrasound scans. On 1st May 2023, we delivered a healthy and beautiful baby boy. We are so grateful and thank you for gifting us with this precious joy. Thank you for helping to manage my nerves and anxiety through this process and for the support of family and friends.
Your Loving & Grateful Daughter.
10. Dearest Mother,
Thank you for answering my prayers for my nephew who has autism. The doctor assessed him and the results were good. He can move to a normal school and it was very good news for the whole family especially for my brother.
