Dearest Mother Mary,
It was nearly four years ago when I came here as a foreign worker. It was impossible for me to find job here because of my age but through your intercession, I was hired. I am a mother of 3 beautiful kids. I left them with my husband unsure of what the future was for them without a mother guiding them, but still you listened to my prayers. Two of my children finished their university studies and both passed difficult board exams in Physical Therapy. I never realised how blessed I am. When I cast my burdens into your hands, you are always there for us. On 5th April this year, my youngest son will graduate from his university studies. Through your intercession and guidance, my children went on the right paths.
Thank you for giving me the strength to carry on despite the difficulties and hardships I faced during the past few years. I am forever grateful to you.

2. Mother Mary, forgive me for the delay in thanking you for blessing us with a positive result for my son’s dependent pass application. During my pre-natal period, my husband and I came almost every Saturday to pray for a safe delivery and the approval of dependent pass. Thank you, Mother Mary, for granting our prayers.

Dear Mother Mary,
Thank you for your help, protection and blessing throughout the Chinese New Year holidays in Singapore. Thank you also for all the beautiful Masses that I have attended at Novena Church and the meaningful homilies given by the priests and brothers. Soon it is time to go back to my homeland, Malaysia. Mother Mary, please bless me with a safe and smooth flight back.

Dearest Mother Mary,
Thank you so much for helping me in my studies. Ever since I got my O Level results, I was very disappointed as I did not do as well as I expected. I was lost and depressed. Even though family and friends said that my grades were not too bad, I still felt like a failure and started to avoid them as I knew that I would feel embarrassed when they ask me what were my results. I was unable to go to the polytechnic course of my choice. However, I still tried my luck and applied for my dream course. As expected, I was rejected and was given a course that I really did not like and was not motivated to do. I decided to appeal for the course and was determined to try my very best to be in the course. I had not attended the Novena service for a while and decided to start attending the service again a month ago. I prayed to you for guidance and hoped somehow, I would get the course of my choice. After a week or so, I got an email saying that I was successful in the appeal and was offered the course without even going for an interview. I was overjoyed and my parents were also very happy. Thank you so much, Mother, for all your guidance, love and blessing.

Dearest Mother Mary, I had a medical condition that got worse late last year and I was worried I would have to go for an operation to manage the issue. I guess I am not physically or emotionally ready to undergo such a major operation and was apprehensive about the risks and potential complications that could arise. I prayed to you and started a 9-week Novena devotion at the beginning of 2018. Barely 5 weeks into the Novena, the specialist I am seeing prescribed some medication for me to try and see if it could help my condition. I know all this would not have been possible without your prayers and intercession.

Dearest Mother Mary,
This thanksgiving letter is long overdue one. When I was younger, I used to attend the Novena regularly. But over the years as I got more successful in my career, I started to miss the Saturday Novena and finally stopped attending. In 2012, I lost my well-paying job that I had worked for 13 years. I was out of a job, I was past 50 and my last drawn salary probably put off many employers. A few months after I lost my job, I met one of my cousins who had been attending the Novena all his life and suggested that I should come back to pray to you for your help and intercession, which I did. I came to your shrine and prayed for a new job. Within a few months, I found a job. What a The Lord had blessed me and I thank you and your Son, our Lord for his blessing. 5 years passed and I have the privilege of seeing your home being transformed into what it is today. Mother, I also want to thank you and your Son, our Lord, for the many blessings you have showered on me and my family. We are grandparents of a beautiful 2-year-old grand-daughter, with another one due in March. We thank you and pray to you for your continued prayers and intercession that the Lord will continue to bless us with a happy and closed knitted family.

Dearest Mother,
My heart overflows with gratitude for the great blessing I received from the Lord through your intercession. I have been losing sleep because I was worried about my Employment I cried to you so many nights and sometimes felt that a positive result was not forthcoming. But your example of faith showed me how to completely trust and surrender to God. I persevered in prayer and just when I thought that I would be packing my bags, I got the good news that it had been approved.
