Thanksgiving – 23 June 2018

  1. Dearest Mother Mary,

This is my 1st thanksgiving letter. It has been 45 years overdue. I want to thank you for the many intercessions you have done for me and for all the times I have forgotten to say thanks. Mother, please continue to pray for us and intercede for us.

  1.                                                                                        Your Loving Son.

    1. Dearest Mother of Perpetual Help,

I wish to thank you for answering my prayer so quickly. I was praying to you last Saturday that I wished my husband will join us at the service. Just as I finished my prayer, I received a text message from him that he was on his way to the Novena. Words cannot express my gratitude for leading my husband to Church so that the family can pray together. Thank you for always praying for me.

  1.                                                                   Your Ever-Grateful Daughter.

    1. Dearest Mother,

Thank you for the successful Summit between Donald Trump and Kim Jong Un which concluded safely. Singapore has risen to the challenge and passed with flying colours. I believe this is through God’s blessing as many of us prayed for the event as encouraged by our Archbishop. Please continue to protect our little “Red Dot” and the world with peace.

                                                                     Your Catholic Daughter.

    1. Dear Mother Mary,

About 1 month ago, I wrote to you asking for the deliverance of my sister from the bondage of fortune telling and false gods. Due to prolong unemployment and struggles in life, she fell for erroneous promises. Saddened and desperate, I turned to you for help and comfort. During this period, I was tempted to talk to my sister to express my disappointment and anger, knowing that we will end up quarreling. But it didn’t take you long to take control of the situation. Recently, she returned to Church to serve and attended Mass. I was surprised by her swift change and I am very grateful for your kindest compassion and help. Mother, please accept my humble gratitude. I know that in whatever situation, you will always be there for me.

                                                                                                                           Your Ever-Grateful Daughter.

    1. Dearest Mother,

Thank you for all the blessings that I have received in the past few days. I am very grateful to the people around me and especially my family who have supported me in my difficult time. As I will be embarking on a new career, I pray that you will guide me in every task.

  1. Your Daughter.

    1. Dearest Mother of Perpetual Help,

We would like to thank you dear Mother, for your kind intercession in the problem that we had with the credit card company. They had insisted on payment for something that we did not purchase, despite our explanations. So we turned to you and prayed for your intercession to resolve the matter. After months of communications, they finally agreed to waive the charges. Thank you dear Mother, for your help and guidance. We are truly grateful.

                                                                             Your Grateful Children.

    1. Dearest Mother Mary,

My son who is 4 years old this year has some difficulty in speaking. I attended the Novena sessions without fail and prayed to you to help him. He started to speak a bit more than usual. Thank you Mother Mary for listening to my prayers and I hope that he will continue to improve and speak more.

                                                                  Your Non-Catholic Daughter.

    1. Dearest Mother of Perpetual Help,

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for blessings and prayers answered. I was devastated 7 months ago when I went for my checkup. I was diagnosed with cancer of the bladder. Mother, without you, I would have been so lost. But each time I came to your Shrine at the Novena, to ask for forgiveness, to seek solace and consolation, I felt so at peace and so loved. The cancer is contained and the scope showed no more tumors. Thank you for watching over me and my family in our challenges in life.

                                                                           Your Catholic Daughter.

    1. Dearest Mother,

I looked back at the letters that I have written to you at the highest and lowest points of my life, and now that those seasons have passed, it is so clear to me that you and your Son, Jesus Christ, have been holding my hand and walking alongside with me each step of the way. I have been so blessed indeed, thank you for answering my prayers.

For years, I had asked for your intercession for something I thought would be impossible – my then boyfriend, and now husband was baptized into the Catholic Church and my heart is overwhelmed with joy and gratitude. It is truly by the power of the Holy Spirit and your intercession that we were able to celebrate our wedding in Church and for him to accept the Catholic Faith. I cannot thank you enough for this miracle and I continue to pray for our spiritual growth and development that we may always keep God at the center of our lives, building up a loving home and family together.

                                                                           Your Loving Daughter.

    1. Dearest Mother Mary,

This is a long overdue letter for your intercession to your Divine Son, our Lord Jesus, for obtaining me a job. In 2014, at the age of 62, I was forced to retire and I was really feeling down and you gave me hope within a month with a job. I wrote a thanksgiving letter to give thanks to God for His mercy and kindness. It was a wonderful job but 3 years later I was forced to retire again. It really broke my heart as my family was depending on my income. Although I was very disappointed, I still did not give up. After 8 months of searching, I was finally offered a job with my previous company. It was a miracle that I got the job. Dearest Mother Mary and Lord Jesus thank you for this great gift. Let those with whatever difficulties in life, never give up on God and trust in him completely. It is not our will but His will and in His own time it will be done.

                                                                                           Your Daughter.
