Thanksgiving – 8 January 2022

1. Dearest Mother,

It has been a very challenging year for my son and his fiancée. The unpredictable state of health of his fiancée’s mother and the worrying Covid situation made them hasten to prepare for their wedding so that the mother could have the opportunity to witness their marriage before she passed on. Thank you, Mother, for helping the couple to have a successful solemnisation ceremony at the Registrar of Marriage where the mother witnessed the ceremony. Not long after, the mother passed on and recently, they had a matrimonial celebration in the church. Thank you, dearest mother, for making the event possible. Please continue to watch over and guide the couple as they embark on their journey in married life. Thank you once again.

Your Obedient Daughter.

2. Dear Mother of Perpetual Help,

In June this year I wrote a petition seeking your intercession for my daughter and her husband as they have been trying to conceive for the past year. My daughter announced the most awaited news that she is six weeks pregnant. I cannot describe the joy that my husband and I felt as grandparents-to-be. I know for certain that you have interceded for us, and on behalf of my family, I sincerely thank you, most gracious and helpful mother.

Your Grateful Daughter.

3. Dear Mother of Perpetual Help,

I had been praying to you every night for many months for a dear friend who had a cancer relapse. His condition was very bad, and it was just a matter of time before he would be called Home. When he went for his review, the doctors tried one medication after another until recently with a change of drugs, he began to improve. It was totally unexpected. Dearest Mother, I’m convinced that it was with your intercession that my friend’s condition turned for the better.

Your Grateful Son.

4. Dear Mother Mary,

Thank you so much for interceding for me and my newborn child throughout the period of pregnancy and delivery. We were blessed with a healthy baby boy on Nov 8th, 2021, and the C-section delivery was successful without any complications. Thank you so much for all the intercession and blessings.

Your Loving Daughter.

5. Dear Mother,

I sought your intercession for a friend’s grandma who is 92 years old as she contracted Covid-19. She was warded in a hospital as she needed oxygen for about a month. She recovered miraculously and is back home with her family. She said she prayed the rosary every day when she was in the hospital. I know her complete recovery must be a miracle since she was unvaccinated. Thank you, dearest Mother!

Your Loving Daughter.

6. Dearest Mother,

I would like to thank you and our Lord Jesus for the many blessings and graces we have received throughout the year 2021. We faced many challenges and unhappy moments but through your intercession and our Lord’s Mercy we managed and survived till now. Please continue to help us to be firm in our faith and to always trust in the goodness of our Lord Jesus.

Your Ever-Grateful Child.

7. Dear Mother,

I had never turned to you before but when my daughter was going through hard times as her father abandoned her, I prayed to you to keep her emotionally strong and to help her get through the PSLE. Her results came out this week and she did exceptionally well. I can only owe it to you and your intercession to God the Father. I’m indebted to you for your love and promise to come to you regularly not just in time of crisis. Thank you, Mother Mary.

Your Child.

 8. Dear Mother,

Thank you for interceding for my daughter who did exceptionally well in her PSLE and got admission to the school of her choice. Thank you also for interceding for my second daughter who even though did not do very well in her earlier exams still managed to stay in the top class. Thank you also for all your prayers that we were able to complete our house renovations and move back to our home after six months. Thank you for your intercession and God’s blessings.

Your Faithful Daughter.
