Thanksgiving – 7 February 2026

1. Dear Mother Mary,

I have been praying for your intercession to find me a job. I went to three interviews but without success. However, a few days ago, I was offered a permanent job as a warehouse coordinator. I am very grateful to you and to your Son Jesus. Thank you for helping me.

Your grateful son.

2. Dear Mother of Perpetual Help,

Thank you for your kind intercession as my gastro and colon scopes have come back with no serious issues. It is also because of your prayers that my ovarian cyst had disappeared in my last scan. Please continue to pray for me and my family.

Your ever-grateful daughter

3. Dear Mother of Perpetual Help,

I thank you for your constant and unfailing love and mercy in your intercession to Jesus. I give thanks to you and Jesus for the many times I pulled through difficult situations, which were too many to count. I am most grateful. Please continue to guide and guard me.

Your faithful Daughter

4. Dearest Mother

I was worried that we wouldn’t be able to get an approval for our bank loan as it seemed impossible at the time, so we prayed for your help.

Thank you for helping us as we were told our bank loan was approved, much to our amazement. Please continue to guide and help us in our faith in Jesus. Thank from the bottom of our hearts.

Your loving daughter.

5. Dear Mother of Perpetual Help.

We are not regular visitors to your shrine but not a day passes without us turning to you for thanksgiving or assistance in all the events of our lives. Over the years we are certain that you have been interceding for us to your Son, our Lord Jesus Christ. Very recently, through your intercession, my daughter gave birth to a healthy baby boy.

Her pregnancy was managed under the care of a gynaecologist very early on, as she had suffered a miscarriage before. Even though there were no major concerns during this pregnancy, we steadfastly continued to pray for a safe delivery.

In the final stages, some complications arose and her doctor advised her to opt for an emergency Caesarean Section.  In the end it all turned out very well for my daughter and her baby boy. Thank you, dear Mother, for interceding for us yet again.

Your loving son.

6. Dearest Mother,

My friend has a child with a learning disability and has been trying very hard to enrol him into a good school. It has been very difficult as there aren’t a lot of vacancies in special schools. Two weeks ago, she received the news that her son has finally been accepted to the school of her choice, a school that is aligned with her son’s learning capability.

Thank you so much for your kind intercession and for always looking over us. We are forever grateful to you and to your Son, Jesus.

Your loving daughter.

7. Dear Mother of Perpetual Help,

I thank God for the gift of faith. My mother underwent a successful medical procedure for her liver that was very delicate. The doctors were good, but the success was primarily due to your intercession to your Son, our Lord Jesus Christ. Nothing is impossible to God for one who has faith.

Your loving daughter.

8. Dear Mother Mary,

My mother was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer in March 2023 and given 4-6 months to live. Today is 24 January 2026 and she is still living with the Tagrisso medication she is taking to limit the cancerous growth in her lings and lymph nodes. She can cook, drive, and walk, though with increasing pain in her legs which is improving with exercise.

I thank you dear Mother for your prayers. Please continue to pray for my mother and that I will be able to find a good job to support my mother.

Your loving daughter

9. My dearest Mother of Perpetual Help,

I would like to thank you from the bottom of my heart for all the favours granted to me and my family.

Especially for praying and interceding for me when I went for my heart scan. I was worried and offered prayers to you and your Son Jesus. To my delight all the results were normal. Once again, thank you Jesus and thank you Mother Mary.

Your daughter
