Thanksgiving – 6 Apr 2019

  1. Dearest Mother Mary,

Thank you for protecting my friend who underwent a successful operation to remove a cancerous growth. Thank you for being with her as she went through the whole chemotherapy treatment with minor side effects.

Your Loving Daughter.

  1. Dearest Mother of Perpetual Help,

Thank you for blessing us with a baby and I am now 4 months pregnant. 4 months ago, we came to your shrine and prayed wanting to have a child and you granted our prayers at the right time. Thank you for interceding for us all the times.

Your Ever-Grateful Daughter.

  1. Dearest Mother,

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for blessing my daughter with a job after several applications. Mother, I know it is your intercession and prayers to your Son, Jesus, that made this possible. My daughter is happy with her job and have caring colleagues. Thank you, Mother, for answering our prayers.

Your Loving Daughter.

  1. Dear Mother Mary,

Thank you for everything you’ve done for me, I really appreciate that. This month has been very hectic, from getting back my horrible results to telling my mother about it. I struggled to tell her about my results for three weeks and I lived with guilt and felt remorseful. I know my capabilities but the results were shocking to me and I felt helpless and stressed. I never expected myself to fail, and furthermore, 3 subjects. Just as I found the courage to tell her, she fell sick and I felt bad to the point of breaking down in class. Thank you for helping me to overcome my emotional stage and I am now motivated to do well for the next exam.

Your Daughter.

  1. Dearest Mother,

Many thanks for healing my daughter, she was rushed to the hospital in Canada. As she was there, I could not do much but to pray to you for your help. You answered my prayer immediately. My daughter was discharged after a week.

Your Loving Daughter.

  1. Dearest Mother of Perpetual Help,

This thanksgiving letter is 56 years late. Coming from a poor family and with no one to guide me during my school days, I was just an average student. I have achieved all my ambitions and did well in my career, blessed with a good wife and family. It was through your intercession that saw my parents and I through hard times. When my father passed away and my mother’s leg was amputated, it was a great struggle and a stressful time, juggling between career and hospital visits. I was also having financial difficulties as I was the only breadwinner for my paternal family and my own family. I just do not know how I got through these troubled times Mother Mary. It was really a case of “footsteps in the sand”. Only your intercession and Jesus, who carried me to where I am now.

Your Son.

  1. Dearest Mother of Perpetual Help,

I came to Novena last week, I felt so much peace being here. I prayed for both my boyfriend’s and my job interviews to be successful and through your intercession, both of us had a phone call confirming our roles in the company. I cannot express how thankful I am. I am really grateful for the prayers answered.

Your Loving Daughter.

  1. Dearest Mother Mary,

Thank you for interceding to my prayers back in 2018. Both my wife and I prayed endlessly at each Sunday Mass and continued with our weekly Saturday Devotion to you at the Novena to seek the Lord’s blessing and your intercession. My prayers for my daughter’s entrance to St Joseph’s Institution has been granted. Mother, thank you very much for your intercession to see her through.

Your Loving Son.

  1. Dearest Mother of Perpetual Help,

21 years ago, I came before you and asked for your intercession for my 25-week old daughter in my womb. The doctor detected a brain tumour in my unborn child and advised me to abort her. I was devastated! Pain ripped through my heart as I pleaded with you and your Son, Jesus Christ. By the loving grace of God and His mercy, my daughter was born and there was no tumour. She just turned 21 and is studying a course of her choice in the university. Thank you, dearest Mother Mary, for watching over her all these years especially when she lost her father to a sudden death. Without you, she would not have come this far. Thank you, Mother, for always interceding for me. The challenges of being a single mother were overwhelming. But you have been interceding for me every step of the way.

Your Grateful Catholic Daughter.
