Thanksgiving – 4 January 2025

1.Dear Mother Mary, t

Thank you for your intercession. I came to your shrine to pray for my son’s application for an apartment with his girlfriend to be successful, and after 2 appeals, they received good news that it has been approved. It has been a worrying 2 years since my son had a heart valve replacement surgery. I’ve placed my trust in God and thank God for his life.

Your Loving Daughter.

2. Dearest Mother Mary, I had breast cancer in September and had a major surgery. I went for follow-ups with my surgeons and everything went well. I thank you deeply for your intercession and, to Jesus for answering my prayers. I am still recovering from the surgery and I know He will heal and look after me. Your Daughter.

3. Dear Mother,

Thank you for loving and guiding me since I was a child. Your presence was ever so strong when my husband passed away in 2017. God has provided for my family and given me the tenacity to care for my mother-in-law who is 95 years old now. In 2020, I was laid off in the midst of Covid, yet I found employment through your powerful intercession. You were always there to guide me gently at so many crossroads. Thank you once again.

Your Grateful Daughter.

4. Dearest Mother,

I am grateful that I started joining the online Novena devotion this year. The weekly devotion has given me strength, peace and clarity. This year has been a fulfilling year for our family. My husband and I were promoted at work and my daughter scored well in her PSLE. Even though she may not get into her first-choice secondary school, we hope that her allocated school will be the most suitable for her academic and personal growth. We believe that God always has a plan for our family. We thank you once again for all your intercession.

Your Loving Daughter.

5. Dearest Mother of Perpetual Help,

I wish to thank God from the bottom of my heart for blessing our family with a baby. My daughter had 2 miscarriages and she went through a very high-risk pregnancy with daily injections and hormone therapy, and through your intercession she gave birth to a normal and healthy baby girl. Her baby is now 10 months old and brings us so much joy and laughter. Words alone cannot express our gratitude for this most precious gift. Thank you so much for always interceding for us.

Your Ever-Grateful Daughter.

6. Dearest Mother,

I am grateful and thankful for all your intercessions for me and my family. Thank you for answered prayers and for your guidance whenever I come to you.

Your Grateful Children.

7. Dear Mother,

My cousin, who was diagnosed with advanced stage cancer, has recently returned to Catholicism, after her conversion to another religion when she married years ago. I know that it is through your kind intercession that my cousin’s spouse had allowed my cousin to return to our Catholic faith. She has requested for a priest to minister the Sacrament of Annointing to her. Last Tuesday evening, a priest from Novena Church visited her at Tan Tock Seng Hospital, heard her confession and gave her the Holy Eucharist. My cousin was overjoyed and felt a heavy burden lifted off her.

Your Catholic Son.

8. Dearest Mary,

I give thanks to you for interceding to God for the safety and well-being of my family when we went away for vacation, followed by our mission work in Cambodia. Our time spent together, especially to serve those who are underprivileged, has brought the family closer and helped us better appreciate the Lord’s profound love for us. Your Faithful Daughter.

9. Dearest Mother,

Thank you for interceding for my husband with a successful heart surgery and for a speedy recovery.

Your Loving Daughter.

10. Dear Mother of Perpetual Help,

Thank you for answering my prayers. My husband has decided to come home. I cannot thank you enough for your intercession. My strength alone cannot move any mountain, but with Jesus’ help, He has moved this almost impossible mountain for me.

Your Grateful Child.
