1. Dear Mother of Perpetual Help,
Sorry for taking so long to write this overdue letter. I met with a car accident some time back. The crash was bad but my wife and I were not hurt at all. During the crash, my wife was screaming and I was in a state of shock and panic. My foot was on the accelerator and I was swerving left and right. All of a sudden, I heard a sweet female voice telling me twice to step on the brake. I slammed on the brakes immediately, and was saved from a head-on crash with another car. It was a close shave. Mother, thank you for prompting me to step on the brakes – I knew it was you because I have always been a faithful devotee. Thank you, dear Mother.
2. Dear Mother of Perpetual Help,
Not too long ago, my three sons are diagnosed with a rare genetic condition. It affects their skeleton, eyes, heart, and other organs, and is life threatening. The potential damage is irreversible, and my children would have to struggle with this condition throughout their lives. Despite this diagnosis, I want to follow the example of the Prophet Job, and praise God in the midst of pain and suffering. Thank you, dear Mother, for all the blessings we have received from God through your intercession. Despite our suffering, the Lord has provided us with the ability to pay for the expensive medical treatments which would prolong and improve his quality of life. This condition has also helped me to treasure each day that I have with my children. Thank you, Mother for your help.
3. Dearest Mother Mary,
Through your intercession, I have managed to secure a good job recently. Given the current situation, I had to start my new job from home, but through the grace of God, everything went smoothly. All the hiccups were resolved with the aid of my kind and helpful colleagues. I am thankful that with this new job, I can now use my skills fruitfully, and I can afford to contribute more to our household expenses. I thank you also, Mother, for the opportunity I’ve had to grow closer to our Lord during my recent career break. Looking back, I see God’s hand in everything. He has showered me with so many blessings. Thank you, Mother for all your unceasing help and intercession!
