Thanksgiving – 30 July 2022

1. Thank you, Blessed Mother, for granting my daughter her work permit from NUS. Guide and guard her as she prepares to go to work. I trust that my daughter and her kids will be safe under your care. Please intercede to your Son, Jesus to bless her in her new job. Thank you, Mother, for all your blessings.

Your Grateful Daughter.

2. Dearest Mother Mary, my son contracted dengue last week. His platelets count has been dropping and it was worrying. I prayed for your intercession. Yesterday, I received the good news that his platelets count has started to rise. He is still weak but has improved. Please pray for a speedy and full recovery.

Your Thankful Daughter.

3. Dearest Mother of Perpetual Help,

You have always been there for me. I can’t count the number of petitions I have written over the years, so I would like to offer a thanksgiving letter that’s long overdue. My daughters have graduated from university with good results. They are good daughters, and they keep the Catholic faith close to their hearts. I can’t ask for more. I am really grateful for all this. Without your intercession and protection, this would not have happened. Now, they are continuing their journey with their new jobs. Please continue to guide them on their journey.

Your Catholic Daughter.

4. Dear Mother Mary,

This thanksgiving letter is long overdue. I intended to write but I procrastinated. Early last year my father passed away leaving me and my younger brother who was still studying to care for our mother and ailing grandmother. Then, I tested positive for Covid and that delayed any progress. My younger brother wanted to stop studying and find a job. But I told him that we could manage. After that I got a job and came to the Novena and asked for your intercession. Within two months I got a better job with a higher salary and that was enough to survive as a family. So, Mother Mary, I thank you once again, for your prayers and intercession to your Son, Jesus. Please continue to guide us.

Your Non-Catholic Daughter.

5. Dearest Mother of Perpetual Help,

We would like to express our sincere thanks to you for interceding for our granddaughter’s application for primary one in 2023. We just received the good news that the application was successful. She will be able to get into our school of choice.  Thank you once again Mother of our Lord Jesus Christ for all the blessings bestowed to us.

Your Catholic Daughter and Son.

6. Dear Mother Mary,

I would like to thank you for helping me with my exams in May this year. It was one of the toughest semesters in university as I had 5 exams to handle, as well as an exam which I was attempting for a third time after failing twice. I was very worried about failing once again, as it was very demoralising with each failure, as well as very expensive in having to pay for each subsequent attempt. With your grace and intercession, I managed to pass not only that difficult exam, but all of my exams, which helped me maintain and even slightly improve my GPA.

Your Son.

7. Dear Mary,

Thank you from the depth of my heart for your mercy and compassion upon my siblings, my brother and his family, especially my nephew and me for the favours granted to us over the years, through your Son, Jesus. Please continue to guide and guard over all of us.

Your Grateful Daughter.
