Thanksgiving – 30 August 2025

1. Dearest Mother,

I thank you for your intercession in helping two of our daughters heal from their broken relationship. Past wounds had continued to be opened by harsh words. Things appear more civil now with a new mindfulness to respect each other. Please continue to intercede for the love of the two sisters to be rekindled. Thank you, O Loving Mother.

Your grateful daughter.

2. Dearest Mother Mary,

Thank you for your intercession of a smooth delivery of my baby girl last month. Thank you that she’s growing well day by day and I continue to pray for her wellbeing. I also thank you that I’m recovering well from my Caesarian and continue to pray until I’m fully recovered before returning to work in October. Thank you, Mother Mary, for always being there whenever I needed you and continue to help me to grow in my faith.

Your dearest daughter.

3. Dearest Mother,

Last November I lost my job as my employer closed down operations in Singapore. This was the first retrenchment in my 25 years career. I felt lost, worried and anxious and started to apply for numerous jobs but was not successful. It was you, Mary Mother, who made me feel calm in front of your shrine. In April, I applied for a job but it got stalled. Four months later, I got a call from the company offering me the job. This nine months’ journey has been turbulent, but you’ve encouraged me to be patient. Anything is possible with God, we just need to follow His plans, timings and have faith. Thank you, Mother.

4. I want to express my deepest gratitude to Mother Mary and Jesus for answering my prayer. After my wife was diagnosed with lung cancer, I prayed to Mother Mary to intercede to your Son, Jesus, for healing. Miraculously, everything fell into place, and I’m deeply thankful.

Your loving son.

5. Dear Blessed Mother Mary,

With a heart full of gratitude and joy, I come before you to offer my sincerest thanks for your loving intercession. For many days, I suffered from degenerative arthritis in my knee, bearing pain and limitations, and was told by the doctor that I needed to go for a knee replacement surgery. Yet in the midst of my struggle, I turned to you with hope and trust, asking you to bring my petitions before Jesus. True to your maternal love, you heard my cries and gently placed them in the hands of the Divine Healer. Today, I stand as a witness to the power of your intercession. My healing is a testament not only to the mercy of Jesus, but also to your constant care for us, your children. Thank you, Mother Mary.

6. Dearest Mother Mary,

Thank you for interceding for my son to get a stable job to help him look after his family. The other wonderful thing is that my son’s wife also got a job. It’s with your help and intercession that all this was possible. Thank you, Mother Mary.

7. Dear Mother Mary,

Thank you for your everlasting love for my family. It is through your love & intercession that my children have grown up well. I am forever grateful that my marriage continues to be strong with my husband’s love and care. I cannot thank you enough for bringing us back to your Son, Jesus. Please continue to guide us in our spiritual & earthly lives. We love you Mother.

8. Dearest Mother Mary,

I had a tough week involving a police investigation into a case I managed at work. it was mentally exhausting. However, I am grateful and immensely thankful for your intercessions and prayers to our Lord Jesus for his presence and help. Thank you, Mother Mary, for being with me too, walking with me, lifting me up, and encouraging me.

With love, your Catholic son.

9. Dearest Mother Mary,

I would like to offer my sincere thanks to Jesus and You for my answered prayers. My husband was asked to remove his gallbladder few months back after his scan showed that he had a large polyp. As my husband was not ready to go for the surgery then. He requested for another scan that happened a week ago. The doctor says that the latest scan does not show any polyps and there’s only stones instead, which are quite common. Hence, my husband’s gallbladder is clear and need not be removed. Thank you very much Mother Mary.

10. Dearest Mother Mary,

Twelve years ago today, God blessed us with our beautiful granddaughter, Sarah, born on your Solemnity – The Solemnity of the Blessed Virgin Mary. I would also like to thank the Lord for being the Centre of our marriage. My husband I have been married for over 52 years to date. It was a marriage build on love first; then deciding to keep our marriage vows and make it work despite many challenges we face in our relationship over the years. Thank you, Mama Mary.
