Thanksgiving – 29 March 2025

1. Dear Mother,

I was pleasantly surprised that I will be getting a good bonus despite just joining my company. The bonus will help me to repay my students loans and I will definitely be generous with the less fortunate. Thank you, Mother.

2. Dear Mother Mary,

Thank you for interceding for my daughter as she got accepted to all the local universities that she applied for. Please continue to guide her to make the right decisions, to be kind. Protect her and our family always.

Your loving daughter

3. Thank you Mother Mary. I am very grateful to see improvement in my son’s studies. He has ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder) and he has responded well to his medication. Thank you for praying for him.

4. Dear Mother Mary,

After numerous interviews in the past two years, I found success in securing a better role and also a better manager to work with. It had been a testing time for me. I was able to exercise patience and perseverance, knowing that God in his own time will answer my prayers and bless me with the right employment. Thank for Mother Mary for your intercession.

5. Dear Mother Mary,

I asked your intercession for my parents last week as they were going through very challenging times. My mother locked my father out of the house.

My parents have now reconciled. I continue to pray that they will find peace in their hearts and for my father’s conversion in God’s time. Thank you, dearest Mother for your love and constant support especially when we are at our lowest.

6. Dearest Mother Mary,

During my son’s A-level exams and up until the release of his results, I have been praying to you, asking for your intercession to our Lord for his wellbeing, health and strength to go through this demanding season.

I especially prayed for God’s grace and favour on the day he received his results. We’re sincerely grateful for God’s mercy and his results are a miracle. I pray that the Lord continues to guide him in his path of life ahead and that he will use the gifts that God has given him for the greater glory of God’s name.

7. Dearest Mother of Perpetual Help,

I’d like to share this with the novena community so that they will be inspired to continue through their struggles, counting on your intercession before your son Jesus.

My previous company was driven by profit. I left to join another firm but unfortunately, I was retrenched and was jobless for six months. It was a real struggle paying the bills and taking care of our family of four. Three days ago, my wife told me she had given up on faith. I encouraged her to persevere and I prayed the rosary. Just then, I received a text inviting me to a job interview. And now I am going to start on the job.

Thank you, dear Mother, for being with me and my family through all our struggles. I pray that more people will encounter the power of the novena devotion and that it will help more families find peace.

8. Dear Mother Mary,

I thank you for interceding for me in recent days. My father passed away in 2008 and I have taken responsibility for supporting my elderly mother and family. I am 40 years old, with no family of my own. I have been burdened with problems and temptations but have nobody to talk to as I am working here in Singapore and far away from home.

After one novena, I was invited to visit the Heritage Centre. I was moved to prayer upon seeing your icon and the icon of St. Joseph from the old shrine. I lifted up my worries to St Joseph. He too felt the burdens of caring for his family, even having to migrate to a foreign land as a refugee. I felt my late father’s presence at that moment and the father figure of St. Joseph gave me so much comfort.

Thank you for interceding for me. I was led me to experience God’s grace. Thank you for accompanying me through my worries and reminding me to trust in God’s plan. Thank you, Mother.
