Thanksgiving – 29 Aug 2020

1. Dearest Mother Mary,

It is my birthday next week and I would like to thank you for all your prayers and intercession. My 26 years of existence was not easy, as it was filled with a lot of uncertainties and anxieties. But your presence, Mama Mary, was a big help in seeing me through this difficult year. Thank you, Mama Mary.

Your Grateful Child.

2. Dear Mother of Perpetual Help,

A few weeks ago I wrote a petition to you desperately begging for a full-time job for me, I was so helpless and worried for many weeks. After attending the online devotions and hearing the petitions read, nothing seemed to change for me externally but I became more at peace and quietly confident that you will help me. Two weeks ago, I received a job offer after an interview that I was not very optimistic about and I was filled with so much joy! I immediately said a quiet prayer thanking you and Jesus for this miracle. Thank you for always hearing my petitions and I pray that you will continue to watch over me as I begin my new job. Thank you so much.

Your Loving Son.

3. Dearest Mother Mary,

Thank you for praying for us and with us. Recently I got a promotion and became a mother early this year after 10 years of marriage. My husband has started his RCIA journey too. Thank you for the many blessings.

Your Grateful Catholic Daughter.

4. Dearest Mother of Perpetual,

This thanksgiving letter seems rather late. Nonetheless, I want to thank you for giving me the opportunity to further my studies in NTU. I am now able to pursue my dream. I thank you for everything you have done for me.

Your Loving Son.

5. Dearest Mother Mary,

I am very grateful for the many blessings that you have given me and my family. This week specifically, I received the best answers to my prayers. Our baby’s first trimester scan result is all normal and our baby is growing healthy in my womb. I am offered a job which is very near to home. I am very grateful that you have been interceding for me. Thank you very much from the bottom of my heart.

Your Daughter.

6. Dearest Mother,

I wrote a petition some weeks ago for your blessing and protection for my son who was enlisting into the army. I was especially worried as he has a medical condition. He was able to book out just 2 weeks after enlistment as there was public holiday. I was overwhelmed with gratitude when I saw him home and adapting well to his training.

Your Grateful Daughter.

7. Dearest Mother Mary,

I am deeply grateful for your intercession. My husband who left the family and the Catholic Church 6 years ago has started to attend online Mass on his own. He has also been continuing his devotion to praying the Novena faithfully every Saturday since the start of the lockdown. It is through your prayers and grace of God that these blessings are possible.

Your Devoted Daughter.
