Thanksgiving – 27 November 2021

1. Dearest Mother Mary,

Our baby’s blood test result has shown improvement and she is now recovering well. This wouldn’t have been possible without your intercession. Thank you, Mother and please continue to intercede for her so that she will grow up to be a strong and healthy girl.

Your Daughter.

2. Dearest Mother Mary,

Thank you for interceding for my younger brother to Jesus. He was suffering from severe allergic reactions and itching all over his body which was troubling him a lot. Doctors couldn’t identify the allergen and he was afraid to eat anything as the cause of allergy was unknown. Because of your intercession, he is cured now and is not suffering from skin rash for the past 3 weeks. He eats everything and is very happy. He has completely stopped all medication as well. Dear Mother, thank you once again for your intercession.

Your Grateful Daughter.

3. Dear Mama Mary,

I had a very bad sore throat last week, and did my swab test. I used to be very anxious whenever I waited for my test results. However, I was quite calm after the test this time. Thankfully, my swab test result came out negative. Thank you, dearest Mama Mary for your intercession.

4. Dearest Mother of Perpetual Help,

I wish to thank Jesus and you for easing my brother’s pains and sufferings when he passed away on Wednesday night. The passing of my brother brought grief and sadness to his loved ones which include his wife, sons, his remaining siblings which include me and also those who knew him personally. However, in the midst of sadness and grief, we were consoled by God’s goodness and mercy in knowing that he had been relieved from his sufferings. He passed on peacefully with his wife, sons and daughter-in-law at his bedside. May he rest in God’s eternal arms now.

Your Loving Son.

5. Dearest Mama Mary,

Thank you for your intercession as I have returned to work with my previous employer. I did not expect this at all; it was a pleasant surprise indeed. I thank you and our dear Lord for making this happen, and I pray that I will be successful this time. I thank God for my manager who is a very understanding person. Thank you, dearest Mother, for all your prayers and your help!

Your Grateful Child.

6. Dearest Mother Mary,

I am truly and deeply thankful to you and Jesus for protecting me and my family all this time, especially during the pandemic. My words of gratitude are far from sufficient to express it to both you and Jesus. Thank you, Mother.

Your Loving Child.

7. Dear Mother Mary,

I’m truly grateful and extremely thankful for your help during the worst 10 days of my life. I was tested positive with COVID-19 and I had to spend 3 days at home with my very senior parents and a helper. I panicked and told myself that I have to be isolated elsewhere. I turned to you Mother and your Son Jesus for help. I called the ambulance and was brought to Tan Tock Seng Hospital for further observation. I stayed there for two days and was later brought to a community care facility. It is through your help that my parents and helper were tested negative all throughout their quarantine period. Thank you so much Mother Mary and your Son Jesus for protecting my family and myself.

Your Grateful Daughter.

8. Dear Mama Mary,

This letter is four months overdue. Thank you for blessing us with our third child. He was baptised in October 2021. Thank you, dearest Mother for all your unceasing help and intercession!

Your Grateful Children.

 9. Dearest Mother Mary,

Thank you for praying to your Son for me to have a successful eye surgery and for my recent medical results. Mother, you have always been there for me and my family even though we do not reach out to you at times. Thank you once again, dear Mother.

Your Child.

10. My dearest Mother Mary,

Thank you for drawing my husband and I back to attending the online Saturday Novena sessions which we have not been participating in since the pandemic. However, we decided to make a change after this year’s Novena annual procession which was shown online. We were deeply moved by the whole procession and that led us to watch the Saturday Novena online once again. My sister-in-law in Australia is also watching it every Saturday now. Every week, we listen to the Novena sermons and the messages really move me. It has inspired me to read more of the Word of God now and to attend online Bible study sessions. Thank you once again, dearest Mother.

Your Loving Daughter.

11. Dearest Mother Mary,

Thank you for blessing my husband with a favourable outcome for the recent echography of his abdomen. With your prayer, all his organs are in great condition now and we are very thankful Mother. Please continue to pray for his follow up consultations and treatment.

Your Catholic Daughter.

12. Dearest Mother Mary,

I write this letter with a grateful heart that you have answered my prayers. My daughter who just finished her PSLE has been admitted to the school of her choice via Direct School Admission (DSA). It was a huge relief for our family as it took away a lot of stress related to having to sit for the PSLE. My husband and I prayed so hard that we would get an outcome that would give her the peace and calmness needed to do well. And once again Mother, you have not failed us. We are certain that all good things come from you, and it is very clear that you are helping to guide our daughter’s path. Please continue to watch over her so that she will strive to do all things for God’s glory. Thank you for your intercession dear Mother.

Your Loving Daughter.

13. Dearest Mother,

Thank you for your unceasing love for me even when I least deserve it. Thank you for never letting me go and showing me the way back to your Son, Jesus Christ. I feel so ashamed and so grateful as I am writing this letter to you. You saw us through our family struggles when we were Covid positive. I knew you never stopped interceding on our behalf. By the grace of God, we managed to tide through yet another terrible storm surfaced. When we felt lonely and scared, I know you were there and you never stopped praying for us.

Your Daughter.

14. Dearest Mother Mary,

Thank you for the many blessings you have showered upon my family and I through the years. I have been experiencing very intense whooshing and rumbling noise in my ears for many years. I was told by many doctors that there’s no cure for this except to have a major surgery which could leave me with a stroke or paralyzed so I chose not to do it. I just have to bear the stress, headaches and lethargy that comes with this condition. I continued my daily morning Novena devotion to you. Reciting the Memorare always gives me a sense of hopeful healing and optimism in whatever I am praying for. The booming, rumbling and whooshing sound suddenly and miraculously disappeared. I was in total awe with this phenomenal experience and thought this as nothing short of a miracle. My sincere gratitude and thanks for your intercession and healing grace.

Your Grateful Daughter.
