Thanksgiving – 27 January 2024

1. Dearest Mother of Perpetual Help,

Thank you for your love and intercession for me to our Lord Jesus Christ, during my recent surgery. Everything went well and I was discharged the next day. All this was possible due to my faith in you and your Son. You have always been there for me at the worst of times. Thank you once again.

Your Loving Son.

2. Dear Mother of Perpetual Help,

Thank you for always hearing my prayers and helping me get closer to God, even when I don’t deserve it. Please continue to intercede for me and never leave me.

Your Devoted Daughter.

3. Dearest Mother Mary,

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for blessing us with a miracle grandchild last Friday. We did not pray for this due to our daughter’s health conditions that could have caused risks to her and the baby if she conceived. This is truly an unexpected loving gift from God to my family. Thank you for watching over them for the past few months.

Your Loving Children.

4. Dear Lord Jesus and Mother Mary,

I am thankful for my beautiful family unit. The two beautiful daughters that you have entrusted to us are growing up well in the family. I feel blessed in many instances, and I know you were always there when we needed you. Thank you for keeping us safe and protecting us. You gave us strength and courage when we encountered challenges. I pray for continued family bliss and stability for both our girls and guide them to be good Catholics. Let me continue to serve you till the end of my days. Jesus, I love you and you Mother as well.

5. Dearest Mother of Perpetual Help, I want to say a big thank you for your intercession. Through your prayers, God has given me a new job. And, I have learnt to be patient throughout this whole process of waiting and meeting various people. Thank you, too, for your intercession for my daughter who has done well for her exams. May you guide her in her choice of college and more importantly in her vocation in life. Mother, I do not deserve such graces, but I am truly thankful to Jesus for all his blessings. Your Grateful Daughter.

6. Dearest Mother,

I wrote a petition 2 weeks ago asking for your intercession to help me and my husband find a suitable home. We now have found a home that is perfect for our needs and within our budget. We have made an offer and signed the option for purchase. It is through your intercession that our home search went so smoothly. Thank you again for your intercession.

You Grateful Child.

7. Dearest Mother,

I have been lost for a long time. I have been enduring much difficulty and a loss of identity and purpose in life. I am a Cradle Catholic, but only in recent times, Jesus has come into my life. I have a better sense of myself and what matters to me in life. I have been watching the Novena Devotion for the past few weeks. It’s brought much comfort to read the Petitions and Thanksgiving letters written to you. I, too, started writing these and this is my first Thanksgiving letter. In this letter I would like to thank you for coming into my life. Thank you for bringing Jesus and hope into my life. I longed to belong and finally I do. Mother, I continue to pray for your intercession and guidance and to watch over me.

Your Loving Child.

8. Dear Mother Mary, thank you for helping me leave what I now recognise was an abusive relationship. It hurt so much but you gave me the strength to do the right thing. The road to recovery from heartbreak has not been easy but you have been with me every step of the way. Thank you for your protection and for helping me survive a tough time.

Your Grateful Child.
