Thanksgiving – 26 April 2025

1. Dear Mother Mary,

Back in Dec 2024, my dad was really ill and in a life-threatening condition, riddled with multiple issues – a failed kidney, super high blood pressure, and blood clots in multiple parts of the body. With your prayers and guidance, he was able to recover and got discharged from the hospital. After spending a month there and now he’s making a full recovery. Thank you so much.

Your loving and thankful daughter

2. Mother Mary,

Thank you very much that my CT and MRI scans show ‘negative’ for cancer. I know that your prayers for me are my saving grace. Ever since I was young, I remember praying before your statue in school every morning, and whenever I felt so alone and different, given that I was racially different from my classmates and had a hard time being accepted for who I was. You were the Mother I always came to for comfort, when my own mother could not be there for me.Thank You.

Your loving daughter.

3. Dear Mother,

My heart is full of gratitude to God for the many blessings upon our family, especially the gift of our 2 healthy and loving daughters. We are especially grateful this week as both of them are again awarded the Edusave Merit Award this year. Thank you for watching over them and keeping them safe. As they grow older, besides academic excellence, we pray that they will always have a strong faith in Jesus – a faith that will be their guiding light throughout their lives. Thank You.

Your loving children

4. Thank you, Lord, for blessing my wife and me with our little bundle of joy. It’s been a whirlwind of a year as we experienced so many life changes, since getting married in June last year and moving home. But God has been so good to us through this whole journey and blessing us with our baby boy. He has showered us with love outpouring from the wonderful large community tree that He set up for my wife and me through our 10 years dating journey, then into marriage and now with our child. May God now bring us inspiration on what He would like us to name our brave little one, and may he grow up to be devoted to God’s mission for him.

Thank You, your loving children

5. Dear Mother Mary,

Thank you for always interceding for me and being there when I needed you. I’d like to especially thank you for interceding that I would make the rugby team in my school and allowing us to win the tournament. Even though I didn’t play much, I am grateful for the opportunity to play for my school and to get the team kit. Thank you also for helping me so far though this semester with excellent grades for my midterms. Without your intercession and God’s help I don’t think I would have done so well. Thank you, Mother Mary,

Your loving son

6. Dearest Mother,

It has been a difficult few months. Thank you for your intercession for my son. He finally agreed to see a psychologist to get help for what is deeply troubling him. He is slowly starting to trust her. I know it was through your intercession that she was recommended to us. We have a long way to go but I wanted to thank you for all your prayers and comfort.

Your grateful daughter.

7. Dearest Mother Mary,

My daughter has completed her Poly studies. I am grateful for the marks she received, even though she had to go through the death of her younger sister. She never lost her faith in God despite her difficult moments. I know, Mother, you have a been a great comfort to her during her challenging days and getting her through her studies. I thank you for being with her.

Your loving son.

8. Dearest Mother,

I would like to thank you for your loving intercession in the healing of my cousin. For the past weeks of the novenas, I faithfully sent my petitions to you, trusting in your care and in God’s divine help for my cousin, who was undergoing treatment and heart surgery. Both the treatment and surgery went well. He was discharged and is now recovering well. Thank you, Mother for your prayers, intercession and constant love throughout his speedy recovery.

Your child.
