1. Dear Mother of Perpetual Help,
This thanksgiving letter is one month overdue. I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for interceding for my financial help. I was heavily in debt and at the same time I had no income for a year after being retrenched last year. I was worried, anxious and depressed with the thought of being forced into bankruptcy. I had many sleepless nights. But Mother, you were there interceding for me, helping me to grow in faith during my troubled times and I began to learn to trust God more and embraced His will for me and even to accept the reality that I may have to declare bankruptcy. 1 year has passed, not only did I not become bankrupt, I have gotten a loan from a bank for my business and at the same time I got employed in June 2020. Suddenly, my financial problems are beginning to dissolve as I am receiving income. I know that God wanted to use this one year to learn many things and become a stronger in faith during my difficult moments. Mother, I could not have weathered the turmoils and darkest days if not for your constant intercession for me. I thank you and I love you.
Your Catholic Son.
2. Dear Mother,
I am very thankful for your immediate intercession to your Son for my successful operation in the removal a cancerous tumor in my left upper lung. After 2 years of observation the non-cancerous small tumor suddenly became cancerous in just a few months. I was full of fear and negative thoughts came into my mind, I know I couldn’t do anything except to pray and ask you to intercede to your Son. My family and friends prayed for me for which I am very thankful. I went through the operation and got the result early this month that I had stage 1 cancer. Doctor said the operation was successful and the tumor was totally removed and no treatment is needed. You never failed to answer my prayers all these years.
Your Catholic Daughter.
3. Dearest Mother Mary,
Thank you so much for your kind intercession for protecting my family. My father fell off a ladder last week and was admitted to the hospital. Although his face was swollen and he had a fractured jaw, we are still thankful that he had no broken bone or fracture on his hip, spine or skull; and that he could walk and talk the next day. Thank you so much for watching over my father.
Your grateful children.
4. Dearest Mother of Perpetual Help,
Thank you for your intercession to Jesus and for helping me to receive financial assistance. I was rejected initially but I turned to both of you for help when I wrote in a petition. A few days ago, I was informed that my appeal has been accepted and I will receive the payout. I know that this would not be possible without your help.
Your grateful child.
5. Dearest Mother,
I received an invitation to explore a job opening a few days ago. Although I am currently unemployed, I did not jump at the opportunity as I was unsure of the ability to take an expanded role compared to what I was used to. Having said that, the monetary remuneration was a very real and very strong pull. I sought your intercession for guidance to make a wise and right decision. Thereafter, I had the opportunity to talk to a friend who knows someone working in that company. Indeed, the role will be very tough and which I will be very stressed and unhappy in. I then made the decision not to pursue the job. It was not an easy decision but I thank you for sending me guidance and leading me to have the decision-making conversation with my friend.
Your daughter.
