7. Dear Mother of Perpetual Help,
My wife was diagnosed with cancer at 29 weeks of pregnancy. We came to seek your intercession, and the baby was delivered one week later. Two days ago, the doctors that you blessed us with, did a 7-and-a-half-hour surgery to remove the tumour. It was a complex surgery but it went smoothly, safely and without complications. It was only made possible through your intercession.

I would like to give thanks for having a roof over my head, for my family’s health, for having a family who cares and loves me so deeply. Thank you for the many opportunities you have helped me with: in school and in life — to do the things I love. Thank you for helping me and giving me peace, through Jesus, as I slowly learn and grow.

Many thanks from the bottom of my heart for Jesus’ blessing and guidance of me and my family. My son and his family, who live in Germany, have not been home for 4 years. They have written to confirm that they will be visiting this May. Also, we have been very blessed that our daughter takes us along to every holiday her family goes. Once again, thank you for all the blessings given to us.

I am thankful for God’s blessings and for your intercession. I had previously prayed for an improvement in my relationship with my husband, and to protect us on our overseas trip. I thank God for all the wonderful people we met on our journey and for the break from work, so that we could work on our relationship.

12. Dearest Mother Mary,
Thank you for interceding for my 3 year-old nephew’s health condition. He had a fever and broke into a seizure. Although he was subsequently breathing, he was unresponsive for about 20 minutes. We prayed and sought medical help. He is currently recovering in the hospital. We thank you, dearest Mother, for being with us, for helping us with our emotional pain, and for protecting our nephew. We are forever grateful for your love and intercession for our family.

13. Dearest Mother,
I would like to thank you for your intercession, and to Jesus for His continuous protection and blessing. I have just seen my oncologist this week and all is good. My medical scans are clear of cancer. My liver inflammation has also been improving. I know all of these good results would not have been possible without the Lord’s blessing and love. I am preparing to go back to work next week. Although I am currently down with flu, I am confident that, with your protection, I will recover in time to start work.

I would like to thank you for interceding to our Lord to protect me and bless my family. I am grateful that my husband has a good job all these years. Through your intercession, my daughter managed to secure a job in teaching and my son got promoted recently. Once again, thank you Mother, for always watching over us.

15. Dearest Mother,
My mother suffered a sudden stroke while she was in hospital for a non life-threatening issue, and had complications and suffered a lot of pain thereafter. The doctors told us there was nothing they could do to help her get well, and transited her to palliative care. I witnessed how much pain she was experiencing. I pleaded for your help, as you know what it is like to see a loved one in tremendous pain and not be able to do anything about it. My mother has always been devoted to you and taught us to love and trust you by coming to the Novena devotion. I sought your intercession for mum that she could be relieved of her pain and suffering, and be received into the Lord’s home peacefully. She did not suffer for much longer and passed on a few days later. While it pains our family to lose her quite suddenly, I know that she is now with the Lord and with you in heaven. Thank you for being with her throughout the month- long ordeal in hospital and for hearing our prayers to ease her pain and to experience a peaceful passing into the hands of our Lord in her last moments.
