Thanksgiving – 23 August 2025

1. Thank you, Mother Mary, my two youngest children were able to get places in University. Thank you for your intercession and Glory be to God!

2. Dearest Mother,

I offer this thanksgiving letter for my mother, who will be celebrating her 90th Birthday this week. I thank the Lord for granting her good health, peace of mind, and for being with her in her moments of challenges. Thank you for your intercession, Mother.

3. Thank you, Mother for praying for me. My two sons, who have been in a cold war for the last three and a half months, have finally made up and started to speak to each other.

4. Dearest Mother Mary,

On 9th August, we celebrated 60 years of Singapore’s independence. I thank your Son, Jesus, for blessing this small country of ours with peace and harmony. There are areas we can definitely do better as we progress each year. Although we have always aimed to be the top in most areas, be it economic or in infrastructure, we need to be more compassionate towards one another. Help us to grow closer to one another and to treasure what we have. Thank you.

Your loving son

5. Dearest Mother,

Thank you for granting my mother the strength to undergo all the cycles of her chemotherapy. She was administered a drug that helped bring her cancer marker down. We thank God for giving us faith and hope in good and bad times. We ask for continued blessings, to help us stay strong in tough times, and to know that God will always be there walking alongside us. I would like to offer thanksgiving for all the blessings that we have received.

Your son

6. Dear Mother Mary,

This thanksgiving letter is long overdue, my apologies. Mother, I write to thank you for your intercession to our Lord for his abundant blessings upon my youngest daughter, who got excellent results for her IB exams. She also gained admission into the course and university of her choice, including a smooth process pertaining to her student visa and accommodation. I pray, Mother, that your presence in her life strengthens as she embarks on her studies overseas and may she always rely on your intercession. Thank you, Mother!

7. Dear Mother Mary and Jesus,

Thank you so much for walking with me every step of the way throughout my internship and letting me have such a good time connecting with my colleagues and superiors. I truly did not expect everyone to be as nice and welcoming as they were to me, and I know that it was through your intercession that this was made possible. I had such an amazing time during my internship, and I know you were watching over me every day, ensuring that everything went smoothly. Thank you for always guiding me in everything that I do in life, from my brightest times to my darkest moments. You have been a perpetual source of comfort in my life, and I know that You are always guiding me to do Your Son’s will in whatever I do in life. Please do continue to guide me to always do Your Son’s will in my life and be the best version of myself to the people around me. Lots of love.
