I was very worried about my daughter’s PSLE last year, and I came to your shrine to ask for your intercession for my daughter, who happened to be going through tremendous stress. 2. Dearest Mother,
I was a victim of a criminal case in Malaysia in 2014. A group of robbers killed my father. As a result of this, I developed a deep hatred for robbers. In addition to this, I used to have terrible nightmares regarding the killing of my father. I suffered so much from insomnia and was diagnosed with depression last year in June 2020. What really made this situation worse was the inability in me to understand why God allowed such an incident to happen to me and my family. In the midst of this painful situation, I came to you for help, Mother, as I really felt lost and hopeless. Through your powerful intercession, God sent a group of Catholics to journey with me in my struggles. By God’s grace, I managed to recover slowly with the accompaniment of this community as they led me through prayer and meditation. I also managed to reduce my antidepressant medication with the right dosage which I integrated in my healing and recovery. On 14th December 2021, I recovered from my depression and was discharged. I really want to thank you dearest Mother for saving my life. I entrust my life into your motherly care now.

My son is struggling with Chinese in school. He barely passed despite scoring distinctions in all other subjects. My son is from a good school and it is very competitive. He was hoping to get a scholarship as he has been putting in a lot of effort. I really felt for him. In our desperation, we came to your shrine and pleaded for your intercession. A few days ago, we received a letter stating that my son has received the Edusave Scholarship. We know this would not have been possible without your intercession, Mother. I was very angry with people who borrowed money from me and never paid me back. Deep in my heart, I always wanted help others because God has given me so much, but I just can’t help but feel angry and betrayed when people do not pay me back. Recently, I managed to secure a slot for a talk in conjunction with the Catholic200SG celebration. In that talk, I was overwhelmed with a sudden feeling of gratefulness. Though I know I am blessed, I have never felt such an immense and strong feeling of gratefulness, and it left me in tears. At that very moment, I decided to forgive and forgo any debts that others have against me. It made me realise that there are many people struggling now, and that the amount that people owed me can never be compared with the love that God has for me. Mother, I know that this would not have been possible without your intercession. Thank you for this experience as it has made me humble and gentle like you and your Son.

I was diagnosed with stage 4 colon and liver cancer in September 2021 and I underwent surgery to remove the tumour in my colon. The tumour had spread to my liver. I had to go through three rounds of chemotherapy. In my anxiety and fear, I came to you for help, dear Mother. One morning, I received a call from the oncologist and he mentioned that he could not see the three tumours in my liver anymore. I was overjoyed and extremely grateful. It is a miracle. Mother, I am convinced that this was only possible because of your help and intercession. Thank you once again, dear Mother.

Several months ago, I applied for a few overseas doctoral degree programs. I also went through several interviews as part of the application process. I came to you and sought your intercession. We were going through a rough patch in our marriage. My husband is in the Philippines, and I have to work here in Singapore. As a result of this, we did not see each other for four years and started to lose our trust in each other. We also had financial problems which were really tough to handle due to my husband’s irresponsible behaviour. Moreover, our two young children are with him. At first, I thought our marriage was destined to fall apart. Hence, a few months ago, I sent a few online petitions begging you to intercede for me and my husband, that the Lord will touch the heart of my husband for him to amend his ways and be a responsible husband. Through your intercession, you saved our marriage, dear Mother. My husband and I have managed to work on our marriage and he has turned over a new leaf. Thank you once again, Mother, for praying for us.
