Thanksgiving – 22 February 2025

1. Dearest Mother,

Thank you for hearing my prayers. My brother was finally discharged from hospital after suffering a heart attack. Thank you for your intercession.

Your Loving Daughter.

2. Dearest Mother,

Thank you for protecting my family. We had a car accident on the 3rd day of Chinese New Year. My car was slightly scratched and, thankfully, everyone in the car was safe. Thank you for your protection and love.

Your Grateful Daughter.

3. Dearest Mother Mary,

Our daughter will be going to London for an academic attachment. I thank God for blessing her with this opportunity and also for giving us the means to visit her there. May God bless all of us in our travels and keep us safe.

Your Loving Son.

4. Dear Mother Mary,

I am grateful that this Chinese New Year was a blessed time for my family. I’m especially grateful that my son made it a point to join in the reunion dinner and to visit his grandparents and extended family. I feel blessed that our time together and our conversations helped to bring us together, and that all were well and healthy to enjoy the festive season.

 Your Daughter.

5. Dearest Mother of Perpetual Help,

With hearts full of gratitude, we thank God for the countless blessings showered upon our marriage these fourteen years. We thank God for the love that brought us together and for nurturing and strengthening this love through every season of our lives. His grace has been our foundation, guiding us through joys and challenges and for this, we are forever grateful. We are thankful for the beautiful gift of our two children. They bring joy to our lives. May we always lead them in love and faith. We ask that you continue to pray for us for a fruitful life, filled with joy, peace, and faith, always rising to praise and glorify God in all we do.

Your Faithful Children.

6. Dear Mother,

I have attended the Novena faithfully, every Saturday for the last 50 years. I write this thanksgiving letter for a particular miracle. My daughter has a rare condition called Hashimoto disease. It has a serious impact on pregnancy. She already had one miscarriage, and doctors warned her that the chances of carrying a baby to term are very slim. Yet, she was determined, and I came to make the 9-week Novena to ask you, Our Blessed Mother, for your intercession. As soon as I started the Novena, my daughter told me that she was expecting. Through your prayers and powerful intercession, she gave birth to a healthy baby boy earlier this month. Thank you, dear Mother for being with us, praying for us, and for giving us comfort and joy always.

Your Ever-Loving Son.

7. Dearest Mother of Perpetual Help,

With hearts full of gratitude, we give thanks for our answered prayers for our colleague. He and his wife finally had a baby. They had been praying for this gift for a long time. Though she was born prematurely, we are grateful that the baby is in the loving care of the medical team. We thank the Lord, for the strength and resilience He has given her parents. Mother Mary, we consecrate this beautiful family to your Son Jesus, asking for His mercy, grace, and protection to continue to be with them. May they also find comfort and hope in your maternal care. We thank God for this precious gift of life and for walking alongside this family in every step of their journey. We place our trust in God and His divine plan, knowing that He will take care of everything.

Your Loving Children.
