I am writing this thanksgiving letter for a very big favour, a crisis in my family that has been averted. My seventeen year-old nephew decided to leave school, although he is due to complete his final year of secondary schooling in October this year. His parents and I begged for your intercession. At the meeting with the school, and after much discussion, my nephew decided that he will complete his final year. Thank you, Mama Mary for this miracle, we are so grateful. To all parents, grandparents, teachers, and tutors who are worried about your children, grandchildren and students, entrust everything to JESUS in The Holy Eucharist and to Our Mother of Perpetual Help, and you will see miracles!
Your very grateful son
2. Dear Mother of Perpetual Help,
I sincerely thank you for your intercession in assisting my daughter to find an alternate solution to her job difficulties. I wrote to you last week requesting for help, and the good news came yesterday! I’m so happy for her and it has relieved her stress. On behalf of my daughter, I thank you from the bottom of my heart. I always have trust in you, dear Mother.
Your loving son.
3. Dearest Mother of Perpetual Help,
I am most Thankful and Grateful for a couple of things. Firstly, Thank you for helping my son complete his BMT, despite his knee cartilage injury. Next, I thank you for the fraud alerts raised by 2 separate banks, thus helping to stop limitless charges. Thank you very much for watching over us! We Love you so much!
Your Catholic daughter.

5. Dear Mother Mary,
I suffered very severe abdominal pains for a few months and had to go for a hysterectomy. I thank God for a successful operation and a smooth recovery. And for helping to incidentally remove a cancer cell during this operation. The early detection will require further follow-up, but I thank you and the Lord for the early discovery.
Your grateful daughter.
6. Dear Mother,
Thank you for your prayers. My doctor shared good news from my biopsy test – there is no sign of malignancy! I was so scared and anxious during the long wait for the test results. My heart was so filled with gratitude when I received the good news that I was moved to tears. Mother, you know how a cancer diagnosis can be so crushing, and even the wait for a diagnosis is so agonising. Please continue to pray for all whose lives are impacted by cancer for the journey is oftentimes so difficult.
Your daughter.
7. Dear Mother Mary
Thank you for calling my wife and I to your holy Sanctuaries of Lourdes and Fatima in May. We have both wished to be able to visit these Sanctuaries for many years but were unable due to circumstances. The pilgrimage opened our hearts and calmed us with a peace beyond words when we knelt before you in Lourdes. i was blessed in being able to carry your Statue during the night procession in Fatima.. The miracles you gave us Mother were realised as we kept close to you. Upon returning home after nearly a month including an extended trip into Switzerland i was required to be hospitalised due to some breathlessness experienced in the last week of travel. My blood count was much too low and the doctors couldn’t explain how i managed to even make it through the last weeks of travel and flew home in one piece without collapsing and being medically evacuated due to my prognosis. i believe that you Mother had sustained me throughout the journey until you brought me home safely and into medical care here at home. i had lost blood internally but there were no signs except for some feet swelling and paleness. The nurses were also puzzled of my peaceful normal conditions when they had to transfused blood into me as most patients would have been rushed from the airport based on my critically low blood count. I am now recuperating after 2 surgical procedures were performed on me. i pray to you Mother that the biopsy test is benign and not cancerous. Thank you dearest Mother Mary for covering me with your mantle throughout the whole pilgrimage and trip and bringing me home safely for my medical help.
Your forever grateful child.
8. I give thanks for the constant sustenance granted by God just like the Holy Mother. A position at work was opened for me, the one that I longed to have but was denied. I already lifted my troubles to God and had already accepted that it was not meant to be. I went on my days working as a contractual medical consultant. Lo and behold, a blessing I thought I did not deserve. I thank God and the Holy Mother for sustenance. I always find that whenever I am in my lowest and already on the verge of accepting that there is no solving current problems, but God moves in mysterious ways and everything is okay. I am deeply in awe.
9. Dearest Mother of Perpetual Help,
This letter comes as both a Thanksgiving and Petition letter at the same time. Last week, I wrote a letter of petition to ask for your intercession to help me move to the next stage of an interview for a role I really want. And just earlier this week, I was contacted by HR for the next stage of the interview with them, which happened the next day. Thank you so much Mother for your intercession, and to our Lord Jesus for hearing your intercession and my prayers. Both of you have come to my aid so many times and words alone cannot express my gratitude, all these despite me not fulfilling my role properly as a Catholic. Mother, the company will make a decision soon on which candidate they would like to make an offer to. I humbly now pray for your intercession to your Son, to please help me to land this role. I have been lost in my career after making a wrong move more than 3 years ago and this is a long-awaited opportunity to help me get my career back on track. Please help me intercede for a positive outcome from this, Mother.
Your forever grateful son.
10. Dear Mother Mary,
With a heart full of gratitude, I come before you to thank you for your loving intercession and constant presence during my father’s surgery. Your maternal care has been a source of strength, hope, and peace throughout this journey. Thank you for guiding the hands of the surgeons, for watching over the medical team, and for embracing my dad in your gentle protection. Your prayers have brought healing, comfort, and reassurance when we needed it most. We are truly blessed to have felt your presence with us. Please continue to watch over my father as he recovers, and grant him renewed strength, peace of mind, and a swift return to health. With love and deep thanksgiving, Amen.
