Thanksgiving – 2 Mar 2019

  1. Dearest Mother Mary,

After 12 years of waiting, I finally got promoted! It was a long wait and seeing so many young people being promoted within 3 to 5 years, I was disappointed. But my continuous prayers and hard work finally paid off. Thank you, Mother Mary.

  1. Dearest Mother of Perpetual Help,

I turn 26 today and I want to thank you for the blessings I have had and for the many more to come. Thank you for the beautiful family and friends that I am gifted with. They were the best presents I have ever received. Thank you for always guiding me through hard times and comforting me when I am down.

  1. Dearest Mother,

Thank you for your intercession, my daughter and son-in-law received their blessings today with the arrival of their beautiful angel. Both mother and child are in good health and it’s all due to our humble petition to you. Thank you, Mother Mary.

Your Loving Son.

  1. Dear Mother Mary,

I am deeply grateful for having found out that I have an early stage of low-grade lymphoma and the doctor told me it is easily treatable. I consider this as a blessing as it was detected very early. My eyes could not be dilated, so I was asked to go for a blood test which revealed that my white blood cells were very low.

  1. Dearest Mother,

I have been job hopping, trying to find the correct job. After many years of searching, I finally landed where I am now. The job is great and the company is top notch. I am very grateful for this path that He has placed me on and not forgetting your constant prayers and intercession for my family. I thank you wholeheartedly for always hearing my prayers and I always felt a strong bond with you, Mother, and I also thank you for always praying for us.

  1. Dearest Mother of Perpetual Help,

Our business was facing some issues recently and our bank account which we had for 11 years was closed suddenly without any warning. My appeals to the bank fell on deaf ears and I was worried that I would not be able to open another account. To my surprise, we were not only able to open an account but the service provided was so much better than the previous bank. And my son who has been serving National Service faced discrimination from his immediate superiors and there were also safety issues. After many discussions with his commanders, the matter has been resolved. I know all this is only possible through your intercession. Thank you, Mama Mary.

  1. Dearest Mother of Perpetual Help,

You have understood the deep pain that we went through due to 2 consecutive miscarriages. We were really in need of a new life, a sibling for our 3 year-old son. We started attending Novena Devotions in Novena Church since 2018 every Saturday to pray to have a child. Through your intercession, we conceived a baby and she was born early this year. Thank you, dear Mother, for giving us this blessing.

  1. Dearest Mother Mary,

Thank you for being such a great comfort to me during my years in Singapore. Thank you for taking care of my family back home whom I had entrusted to you. We are a family who prays the rosary together and continues to thirst for and value the true presence of Jesus in the Eucharist. Thank you for being with me, sustaining my faith and hope in God through the years I was unemployed. It was a lesson in humility and trust in God when it took 5 years for the prayer to be answered favourably.

  1. Dearest Mother Mary,

In 2006 my mother had a serious fall and was warded at the ICU. My family gathered at the hospital that Saturday night and we were eager to contact a priest to give her the Sacrament of the Sick. It was past 10pm when Fr. Bill Heng walked into the ward and went with us to mum’s bedside. My cousin had called him whilst he was attending a party. Without hesitation, he borrowed a friend’s car and came to give mum the sacrament. His kindness was etched in our memory as it meant a lot to mum even now. Thank you, dear Mother, for the gift of Fr. Bill Heng. Eternal rest grant unto him O Lord and let Perpetual Light shine upon him and may he rest in peace, safe in the arms of Jesus. Mother, please grant good health to all the priests and especially the Redemptorists.

Your Ever-Grateful Daughter.
