Thanksgiving – 19 March 2022

1. Dearest Mother,

Thank you for being my beacon of light especially during my darkest hours. You gave me the strength after the 4 long and daunting years, I have finally completed my studies.

Your ever grateful child.

2. Dear Mother of Perpetual Help,

This is a long overdue letter. Thank you for your love and support these past few years. I started attending Novena regularly in 2019 and that year, with your intercession I was able to do well in my ‘O’ Levels. Thank you for keeping my parents healthy and for offering your love to them whenever they were stressed. Thank you for keeping the family together despite the many hurdles that came along the way.

Your grateful daughter.

3. Dearest Mother,

I sought your prayers and intercession last month as both my parents were infected with Covid-19. Both of them have other health conditions and all of us were very worried. With your prayers and the mercy of your Son, Jesus Christ, both of them are healed and need not be admitted to hospital. Thank you so much, dearest Mother, for your intercession and for being with them during their sickness.

Your loving daughter.

4. Dear Mother Mary, I can finally travel back to my country after more than 2 years. Thank you so much and I hope you will continue to protect, guide and bless me during the trip back.

5. Dearest Mother Mary,

Thank you for your intercession for my mother to be discharged from the hospital. She is recovering from a stroke. This could not have happened without your help. I was able to reach my hometown in less than 24 hours and you were there throughout my journey home to help me overcome multiple travel challenges and protocols.

Your loving daughter.

6. Dear Mother of Perpetual Help, thank you for giving me a temporary home. I am truly blessed that I managed to find a place to live after I sold my flat. It is quite near my work place and living with my aunt is truly a blessing as I have someone now to look out for me.

Your daughter.

7. Dearest Mother,

This thanksgiving letter is written with much gratitude. Within the last 3 weeks, my brother, cousin and a dear friend contracted Covid-19 virus. I was deeply anxious and my mood for the Lunar New Year celebration was dampened. I prayed earnestly to God and sought your intercession for their healing. My cousin and my friend both have underlying medical conditions and were warded in hospital for treatment. With your help and the grace of God, all 3 of them were healed within 7 days. Thank you once again, Mother Mary, for listening and answering my prayers.

Your grateful catholic daughter.

8. Dearest Mother,

I am really very grateful and want to say my sincere thanks from the bottom of my heart for guiding my operation team to overcome all the challenges. The team was tired, stressed and almost gave up but your love and guidance kept us going. We could not have made it this far if you were not holding our hands and being there for us.

Your daughter.
