Thanksgiving – 18 May 2019

  1. Dearest Mother Mary,

I would like to thank you with all my heart for being a most loving and devoted Mother to my family and me. After attending the RCIA at Novena Church and being baptised 8 years ago, you have always listened patiently to my petitions and Jesus have always answered my prayers. Through your generous love and kindness, I have found God. Please pray to Jesus to guide my 3 children to discover Jesus and God’s love so that they too will be baptised one day as Catholics.

Your Devoted Child.

  1. Dearest Mother of Perpetual Help,

I am so thankful that my husband is finally baptised after 22 years. Since the day we knew each other, we have been attending the Novena, from the old Novena to the temporary venue at Church of the Risen Christ and now back to the original venue. It is a joy to me that he was baptised this Easter and I am proud to tell everyone that he is a Catholic.

  1. Dearest Mother,

I would like to thank you for all the blessings that you have given to my family and me. I am very grateful for the abundance of blessings you have showered upon my loved ones.

Your Loving Daughter.

  1. Dear Mother Mary,

Thank you for your intercession, my husband was having an affair and living a double life. But I want to thank you for bringing him back home as he was away from the family for 9 months. Please continue to intercede for us to have a reconciliation. Thank you for your guidance and love for the family.

  1. Dearest Mother,

Last November, my nephew’s wife was diagnosed with cancer. I attended the Novena and prayed the Rosary almost every day. Last month, she had been certified to be in remission and has started work recently. Mother, beyond the shadow of a doubt your loving and powerful intercession worked miraculously. Please accept our heartfelt gratitude for your intercession.

Your Grateful Son.

  1. Dearest Mother of Perpetual Help,

You truly work beautifully in mysterious ways. I was always worried about financial issues in my family for years and we struggled when medical bills piled up. I am only a contract worker so I do not have all the benefits. I thank you for what you have blessed me with recently. The management has decided to give me a pay rise twice the amount that I was getting. I am eternally grateful for your kindness as I know that you have interceded for me to your precious Son.

Your Ever-Grateful Child.

  1. Dearest Mother of Perpetual Help,

27 years ago, I was told that I had blood cancer after 2 weeks of numerous blood tests when I fell very ill and was warded in the oncology ward for a week to start treatment. I, together with family and friends, stormed heaven with our prayers and turned to you for your intercession. I was blessed with an oncologist who decided to run more tests and scans before starting chemotherapy and he discovered that it was not cancer! I was treated with a high dose of steroids and I recovered within the next few days. Last month, I was admitted to the same hospital and discovered that I had fluid in the lungs. I was blessed once again with good doctors and through your intercession, I was discharged. Dear Mother, I know that without your intercession, all these things would not have been possible. Thank you for watching over me all these years, I thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Your Grateful Daughter.

  1. Dearest Mother Mary,

My heart is overwhelmed with joy and thanksgiving because my eyes have been opened to the many gifts and blessings your Son, Jesus, has sent to me. I am grateful for the many angels that He has sent into my life. Thank you for interceding for me.

Your Child.

  1. Dearest Mother,

8 years ago, I came to Novena Church when my gynae told me that my baby had a high risk of down syndrome. I could choose to keep the baby or go for an abortion. I prayed to you and your Son, to give me a healthy baby and decided to keep the baby. Today, my son is 8 years old and he is a happy and healthy child. 3 years ago, I lost my job and my mum was diagnosed with cancer. With the inability to support her medical fees, I prayed to you to give me the strength and you blessed me with a job opportunity. One day, I was offered a freelance job with good pay and I was able to pay off my mum’s high medical fees. I was so blessed to continue with the job until my mum passed on. Right after that, I was offered a full time job and it’s all God’s plan. This year is another challenging year as my husband lost his job. He lost his confidence and is always depressed. I prayed to God to strengthen his faith. During one Mass, the priest mentioned “work on what you need, leave the worries to God”. The words struck me. I encouraged him to keep looking for a job and leave the outcome to God. He went for many interviews and after each interview he was worried. I told him that he had done his best, leave the rest to God. Today, he received the good news. He was offered a job. God has answered his prayers. Dear Mother, I am very thankful to you and your Son, Jesus.

Your Loving Daughter.
