Thanksgiving – 18 Apr 2020

  1. Dear Mother,

Thank you for being with my husband and I during our holiday in KL and protecting us from contracting the coronavirus infection which was sweeping through the population while we were there from 12-15 March. Please continue to protect us here in Singapore and people all over the world.

Your Grateful Daughter.

  1. Dearest Mother,

I thank you for saving me and my son from a freak accident while on holiday. As we were driving in the dark countryside, 2 cars emerged from the oncoming traffic while I was trying to overtake another. We were shocked that it happened so fast. When we came to our senses, we drove past them and all was well. I said a prayer and we thank you & our Lord.

  1. Dearest Mother of Perpetual Help,

Many thanks for your powerful intercession to our Lord Jesus for my 2 granddaughters passing their exams in NUS and SIM in spite of difficult environmental conditions. Thanking you once again.

  1. Dear Mother,

Just as I thought my life could not get any worse, I lost my wallet last Tuesday and I was definitely winding down the path of despair. However, a good Samaritan came by the very next day and returned the wallet to my home. Thank you, Mother, for looking out for me even in my darkest hour in life and not abandoning me.

Your Son.

  1. Dear Mother Mary,

I am grateful that some churches are still open for private prayers and that online Masses and devotions are made available to us during these trying times.

  1. Dearest Mother Mary,

Thank you very much for your intercession and guidance for a job offer. It is indeed God’s hand and blessing in this and I pray that He will show me the way in making the right decision and allowing the right opportunity to take up the job and be able to settle back with my family in Singapore. I love you Mother

  1. Dear Mother Mary,

Today we celebrate the Feast of the Annunciation. Thank you for saying “YES” to God to be the Mother of His Son. Thank you, Jesus too as your last gift to us, you gave your Mother to be our mother. I know Mary, you are always with us in good times & not so good times. You are always interceding for us. Please cover our world with your mantle & help us through this Covid-19 situation. I also ask you to pray that my children come back to you and your Son.

Your Faithful Daughter.

  1. Dearest Mother,

I would like to thank you for the past week. Thank you for watching over me and my family and friends and keeping us safe. Dearest Mother I thank you from the bottom of my heart for loving me always and making me feel loved. I feel loved when I have the energy to do things. I feel loved when things go right. Whether I know it or not I feel loved when I feel fine and normal. I feel loved when I’m able to get out of bed and feel rested. I am grateful for the normal things people usually take for granted and I thank you and our Lord Jesus for them every day.

Your Child.

  1. Dear Mary,

This thanksgiving is very late. Last month, you helped us sell our house and the buyer gave us a deposit to continue paying our debts. It was a real miracle. Thank you for our son, you have been with him all along and made him do well in his exams. Now he is applying for a scholarship and I know he will get it through your help. Thank you for getting me more training assignments so I can earn and pay our bills.  The salary is not so much as most training has been cancelled but I know you are keeping an eye on me so I will leave it to you. For my hubby, he is driving Grab as it is the only source of income he has to pay his bills. Thank you. I know when the time is right you will help him to get another job. Thank you again Mary for taking care of my family.

Your Loving Daughter.

  1. Dear Mother Mary,

Thank you, dearest Mother for all your prayers and intercession. We have arrived home in Singapore safely. Thank you also for your protection during our stay in London. Words cannot express my heartfelt thanks.

  1. Dear Mother Mary,

Thank you for the numerous blessings you shower upon us especially for the gift of life. My daughter gave birth to a cute baby girl after more than 24 hours in labour. My son got engaged last night. I pray that we will count our blessings and be a blessing to others.

Your Daughter.

  1. Dearest Mother,

Last Friday I wrote a petition to you asking for your help to intercede for my son’s biopsy of his bone marrow and lymph nodes. Today, his results showed negative. Thank you so much Mother and we shall always remember to pray the Memorare. Please Mother continue to heal him.

Your Grateful Children.

  1. Dearest Mother Mary,

Few weeks ago, I turned away from you as I felt frustrated during my review but due to the love and concern of my friends, they advised me to keep trying my best and to continue praying. So then I opened up my heart to believe in you, dear Mother, and I wrote a petition a day before my exam. After my exam I felt like I could not pass as I was not able to give a good answer during my speaking test. My friends advised me again to keep on praying and believe with the power of your intercession and to pray and believe. Yesterday, I received the good news dear Mother and I passed my English exam. Thank you so much, dear Mother. Thank you for my friends who never stopped reminding me that you will always be there if I believe in you.

Your Grateful Child.
