I come to give thanks for your intercession in my prayers. I have gone for surgery to remove my womb and it was successfully done. Thank you for holding my hands throughout the surgery.
Your Grateful Catholic Daughter.
2. Dear Mother Mary,
Thank you for helping my daughter to settle down in a new school for the past 6 months. Thank you for helping her to make friends and in her studies. She is coping well and I know that it is through your intercession that this is made possible. Thank you for protecting her from all danger, harm and evil. Thank you, Mother and to your Son, Jesus Christ, for being with her and guiding her.
Your Grateful Son.
3. Dear Mother Mary,
I completed my radiotherapy sessions today. Many times, I wanted to give up due to the side effects, but you did not give up on me. You walked with me through the Word of God, the rosary and our daily conversations. You put up with my screaming and scolding, gently hugging me as I cried helplessly, reminding me of your presence through the people I met, the scripture readings and videos I chanced upon. You have proven that you are truly present, when many times I doubted if you even heard my cries as I curled in pain. I know the journey has not ended and that I will continue to have fear and doubts but I know too that you will continue to walk with me, comfort me, love me. All I need to do is to continue to trust you and surrender to God’s plan as you did.
Your Child.
4. Dear Mother of Perpetual Help,
I have written many petitions this week for your intercession for my daughter. She had a most difficult week at work and I was worried that she might be heading for a nervous breakdown. This evening, she came home looking relaxed and I think the worst is over. I am sure she will be able to have a good night’s rest. Thank you for your powerful intercession.
Your Loving Son.
5. Dearest Mother,
Thank you so much for always interceding for me and for my family. Amidst of the difficult situation globally, I found a new job that will sustain our needs and to enhance the gifts and talents God bestowed on me. May I be a blessing to others even in my small ways.
Your Grateful Daughter.
6. Dear Mother Mary,
Thank you for giving my son a second chance. I remember when he was hospitalised because of his depression. It pained me when he crashed so suddenly. The long journeys to and from hospitals – the hopelessness. Now he is married and have job offers. I pray that he and his wife will grow stronger in love and that they will be blessed with a healthy child. Thank you once again.
Your Daughter.
7. Dearest Mother,
Thank you for seeing my son through his 6 years in secondary school and junior college. He had many struggles and his confidence and self-esteem took a big hit. Through all his pain, I know that you were watching over and praying for him. With the pandemic and disruption to the school year, his preparations for his “A”-Levels were also especially tough. However, you have seen him through everything. Thank you for helping him to do well and get into a university course of his choice. He wouldn’t have made it without your prayers and love.
Your Thankful Daughter.
8. Dear Mother of Perpetual Help,
As I look back on my life, I realise that I’ve many things to thank you for. Thank you for leading me to Jesus which started my Catholic faith journey. Over the years, God has blessed me in so many ways that I’m unable to count them. So from the bottom of my heart, I want to thank you Mother & Jesus for always being there to help me through ups & downs of my life.
Your Ever-Grateful Child.
9. Dear Mother Mary,
Today I received the shocking news that my father’s car was hit by speeding bus in my hometown. The car was in a pretty bad shape. Thank you for your protection towards my father and his 2 colleagues despite the seriousness of the accident, they suffered only minor injuries.
Your Loving Child.
10. Dearest Mother,
This thanksgiving letter is long overdue as all my prayers have been answered. I had been in pain due to a frozen shoulder. Few months ago, my daughter-in-law who was pregnant, was unemployed. Two weeks ago, my mother, aged 94, was hospitalised in Malaysia. I was extremely worried as I could not visit her due to the pandemic. I earnestly sought your help to pray for me and with me for my mother and my daughter-in-law. Miraculously, my frozen shoulder is on the way to a full recovery. My daughter-in-law has been offered a job which she likes very much and my mother has been discharged from hospital. Thank you very much Mother Mary for your intercession to your Son, Jesus.
