Thanksgiving – 16 July 2022

1. Dearest Mother Mary,

Thank you for listening to our prayers. My daughter was suffering from a bad flare up of eczema during our overseas trip. We prayed for your intercession and she is getting better now.

Your Grateful Children.

2. Dear Mother,

Thank you for watching over me and my family and interceding with our petitions. I have settled well back in my old job with the support of my colleagues. Also, my business trip to Phuket was successful, fruitful and safe. My mother is recovering well upon being discharged from hospital. My grandmother who was sent to hospital for a throat infection is recovering well at home. Thank you very much from the bottom of our hearts.

Your Children.

3. Dearest Mother Mary,

2 months ago I wrote to you a petition letter seeking your help to intercede for my daughter’s application for a new job. She went through 8 interviews and was finally confirmed this week and will be starting work in September this year. I cannot believe it has gone through without a hitch and it is through your intercession that this has happened. Mother Mary, I thank you sincerely for your kindness.

Your Loving Son.

4. Dearest Mother of Perpetual Help,

Thank you for praying for my husband and me. When we were driving in France, my husband was making a left U-turn from a small road onto a main road. We were unfamiliar with the roads and was driving a manual car. As he was about to make the left U-turn, he did not see a huge truck coming from the left. If I had not said “stop’ and if he had not decided to stop, our small car would have certainly been in a direct collision with the truck and we would probably have been seriously injured if not dead. Thank you, Mother, for your prayers and to your Son, for protecting us.

Your Grateful Son & Daughter.

5. Dearest Mother,

My wife and I like to express our heartfelt thanks to you for blessing us with an adorable granddaughter. Though she is only 18 months old, she is always reminding us to pray before meals and whenever she sees Churches she will exclaim “Alleluia”, all thanks to my daughter and son-in-law who are very active in Church and have taught my granddaughter well. Next week, our family will be visiting the UK to attend my 2nd daughter’s graduation. Through your kind protection and guidance, she has done well. Thank you for being there with her.

Your Grateful Children.

6. Dear Mother of Perpetual Help,

Thank you for being with me when I was anxious about my husband’s health. Thank you for giving me the confidence whenever I pray to you. You were with me during my saddest moments. When I was so worried, anxious and troubled waiting for the birth of my 1st granddaughter, you were there with me. No words can express my gratitude to you for healing my husband’s cancer. Thank you for everything and i always feel so relieved when I pray the Memorare.

7. Dear Mother,

Thank you for interceding for my sister. Jesus has granted her a good paying job and a new apartment in Auckland. Once again, thank you Mother Mary and Jesus.

Your Daughter.

8. Dear Mother of Perpetual Help, many things have happened during these two years of Covid. But you were always there for us when we needed your help. Last August, my husband was diagnosed with prostate cancer. We prayed that it would not spread. The waiting list at the hospital was very long so we thought we would see a private doctor. Just as we wanted to make the appointment to see the specialist, a nurse from SGH called that a patient had cancelled his MRI scan and we could go and take over the appointment time. This was really a miracle. Mother, you heard us and from there all the treatment and radiation went smoothly. My husband did 39 sessions of radiation. After his full treatment, he took a blood test and when I saw the result, I could not believe my eyes. His result after the treatment turned out to be very good. I told my husband that God loves him. Thank you so much for interceding to your Son, Jesus, and for protecting him.

9. Dear Mother Mary,

I come with a grateful heart to thank you for interceding in my petitions and prayers that I offered up to your Son, Lord Jesus, the past months. My domestic helper’s x-ray showed an abnormal white spot on her right lung. If found to be possible tuberculosis or other illness, she might not be able to get her work permit renewed and would require treatment. The doctor and I decided to take a chance for her to do a 2nd x-ray at the same clinic. Miraculously the white spot disappeared on her 2nd x-ray. I strongly believe you have prayed to our Lord Jesus to heal her and I am very grateful. The doctor confidently submitted the medical report for her work permit renewal.
