Thanksgiving – 15 Sep 2018

  1. Dearest Mother Mary,

This is a simple note to say that it was wonderful being able to be at the Procession Event and to be able to express our love and honour to you as you truly deserve. You are our precious Mother and the most Blessed Mother of our Saviour. When we looked back over the years, when there was no Procession, we had gone through so many ups and downs of blessings and trials, of joys and sorrows. For all the blessings, thank you Mother, for it is through your intercession that we obtained the graces and blessings from God. For it is also with your Mother’s love that we received the consolation, hope and strength to remain steadfast, to persevere and not give in to despair.

Your Grateful Children.

  1. Dearest Mother of Perpetual Help,

For the past three years, I have not come to you as the Novena Church was under renovation. Today, with a most grateful and loving heart, I place my thanksgiving before you. You have never failed to answer any of my prayers and therefore I thank you from the bottom of my heart. You have always given me the graces and blessings year by year. I prayed for my daughter to have a child and in your goodness, you have given her a wonderful baby.

Your Daughter.

  1. Dearest Mother,

Thank you for being by my side during all these years especially during my illness. I was diagnosed with breast cancer in June and the doctors suggested a mastectomy immediately and the removal of lymph nodes. I was in a state of shock but I prayed to you, dearest Mother, to be with me during this cancer journey. Even while in the operating theatre, I prayed to you to be with me. The operation was a success and I am now recovering well.

Your Loving Daughter.

  1. Dear Mother Mary,

Thank you for journeying with us through 7 months and 29 days. Our dear daughter got her wings on 31st August 2018. She was a great warrior, she fought so hard through all the hardships. In these 8 months, both of us have learnt a lot from her. In her early stages of life, I wrote to you about her sufferings and how she should get her wings. Finally, you set her free. We are very thankful that she is no longer in pain and freed from all the medications. She is now with you, dearest Mother. She will be an angel with you, guiding us in our lives. I would like to thank you for guiding us in this journey of tough times. Now, we have to move on with our daughter living in our hearts. It is hard but with your guiding light, we will be able to cope.

Your Daughter.

  1. Dearest Mother,

I attended the Sunday Mass at Novena Church for the first time and it changed my life. I felt the love and acceptance of the community. From then on, I attended Mass and Novena Devotion and it renewed my faith. Every time I go to Novena Church, I feel safe and feel that God will take away all my worries. I thank God and the many people for leading me here and for telling me that I will be alright as long as I trust in God.

Your Ever-Grateful Daughter.

  1. Dearest Mother of Perpetual Help,

Thank you for giving me a job so that I am able to continue to pay my bills and home mortgage. Thank you for giving me the peace of mind.

Your Devoted Son.

  1. Dearest Mother Mary,

No words can express how grateful we are for your intercession that brought about a successful major spinal operation in May for my 75 year-old mother who was in great agony because of a fractured lumbar. Though it has been a stressful and traumatic period for our family with one health issue after another, I know God has a bigger plan for us. We are very thankful that Mother Mary is always with us.

Your Loving Catholic Daughter.

  1. Dearest Mother,

Since my fall in December 2017 which led to my brain injury, I had unceasingly made weekly petitions for a recovery and made thanksgiving for each week of staying alive. I had to abort my trip to visit my daughter in London. I prayed for a complete recovery to fly there to accompany her home to Singapore. The doctor finally cleared my health condition to allow me to fly to London and meet her. I had also offered petitions for my daughter to pass her exams and complete her Masters. My utmost gratitude to our Lord Jesus, and to you Mother Mary, for seeing my family through this journey.

Your Grateful Son.

  1. Dearest Mother,

Thank you for reminding me of God’s love and how he never fails me. I am currently feeling overwhelmed and stressed but I know that God is with me. Thank you for your intercession, dearest Mother Mary, as you reminded me that I am never alone.

Your Daughter.

  1. Dearest Mother,

My wife and I would like to thank you for guiding us and praying for us. We have been trying to have a baby for many years. We had a conversation with the priest during our house blessing, he told us not to give up. Recently, we finally received the good news that my wife is expecting. We know that you, our Mother, and the Lord have not forsaken us but have always been guiding us in one way or another and for answering our prayers.

Your Grateful Son.
