Thank you for hearing my prayer. I came to you a week ago to intercede for my new role as a salesperson. The past weeks were challenging as I often faced rejection. Through your intercession to Jesus, I manged to close my first deal successfully this week. I know that I could not have done it without you.
Your Catholic Daughter.
2. Dearest Mother,
Last night I wrote to you seeking your intercession to help me find a new place because the owner of the current house I am renting wanted the house back. It was so sudden. I have been praying to you for weeks for a new place to move into. This morning, the owner contacted me to inform that he will not be taking the house back and to be rest assured that I can have it till the end of my contract. I was relieved and I am thankful for your intercession.
Your Loving Daughter.
3. Dearest Mother Mary,
We thank you for being with the family through our ups and downs. Thank you for being with us when we were facing financial difficulties. With your help, we are able to overcome all the difficulties.
Your Grateful Children.
4. Dear Mother,
This is a long overdue letter. Thank you for interceding for me throughout my “O” Levels last year. I managed to do well and able to enter a polytechnic. I am grateful to have you as my Mother.
Your Loving Child.
5. Dearest Mother,
I want to thank you for interceding for me. Without you, my Mother, I would not have been able to go through with what happened to my son four months ago. He lost his limb due to an infection which nearly cost him his life. Mother, I prayed to you and surrendered all to your Son, Jesus. Soon he will have an artificial leg and I know that you will help and guide him to cope with his walking. Thank you that he is able to continue to work when he is ready and strong again to return to office.
Your Grateful Daughter.
6. Dear Mother Mary,
Thank you for answering our prayers. I wrote a petition this morning asking for my husband’s luggage to be found. And we were both very happy to receive a call and were informed that the luggage was found and could be collected.
Your Daughter.
7. Dearest Mother Mary,
I have not written a thanksgiving letter for a long time. I guess somehow along the way I forgot to appreciate the little things that came my way and went smoothly, and focussed on things which made me unhappy or which I found wanting. Dearest Mother, thank you for helping me through all the things which could have gone wrong, and for making sure they went smoothly. I never realised how important or rare it was to have everything go smoothly and it made me realise how much you have helped and paved the way for me. Thank you very much for all that you have done for me.
Your Loving Daughter.
8. Dearest Mother,
I came to your shrine praying for my 15 year-old son who had mild depression and had refused to go to school. Now he is a happier child and the school has given permission for him to study at home. Though he needs to be more organised and put in more effort into his studies, I am very grateful to God and you for helping us.
Your Grateful Daughter.
9. Dearest Mother Mary,
Thank you so much for all the blessings that you had showered upon me, my family and friends. Thank you for blessing me with a new job last year and also the good colleagues whom I have met and the environment that I am working in. I am very grateful to have you and Jesus in my life, without both of you, I think I would be someone who is like a lost sheep without a shepherd.
Your Ever-Grateful Daughter.
10. Dear Mother,
I am grateful to you for all your prayers and intercession. I thank you for taking care of our daughter who went to the Netherlands at the age of 18 for her studies. She has completed her course with good grades and has been offered a Master’s program there. She is dyslexic and we placed her in your hands and you took care of her.
