Thanksgiving – 12 March 2022

1. Dearest Mother,

Thank you for granting me healing as I caught Covid-19. There was an outbreak in the ward where I worked during Chinese New Year. Five staff were down but we are on the road to recovery. Thank you, Mother Mary for guiding us through this difficult time.

2. Dear Mother of Perpetual Help,

About two weeks ago, my brother, his wife, his elderly mother-in-law and their helper as well as his son, pregnant daughter-in-law and 2-year-old grandchild all came down with Covid-19. They have all recovered. Thank You for protecting all of them from serious illness and for interceding with your Son.

Your grateful daughter.

3. Dearest Mother,

Thank you for all the blessings and guidance you have bestowed on my children and me. I am a single mother and it has been thirty difficult years. But things are slowly improving and I know that you have always been at our side to help and guide us. Please bless my children as they continue on their journey as adults with their own families. Thank you, Mother.

Your loving daughter.

4. Dear Mother Mary,

I just got married. I was under a lot of stress leading up to the big day as I wanted everything to go well. My fiancé and I visited the prayer garden to ask for your blessing. And you blessed us. Our Wedding Mass went without a hitch and the lunch reception was well-received by our guests. Thank you, Mother for blessing us. Please continue to look after my husband and me as we journey into the next stage of our lives together.

5. Dearest Mother Mary,

Thank you for your prayers and your Son for all his blessings throughout these years. Next week, my wife and I will be celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary. We have been blessed with a wonderful and loving relationship, two happily married children and one beautiful granddaughter. Please continue to pray for us and our family.

6. My dear Mother of Perpetual Help,

Thank you. Whenever I prayed you have always answered. From the time I asked for your help to guide me through my nursing exams back home, to praying that you will help me to find a job here in Singapore. You have always listened and answered.

As I have made the decision to return home, I thank You my dear Mother, for all the blessings you have given me these last seven years here in Singapore. For bringing people into my life who helped me along the journey here. For good health and for keeping me safe. My devotion to you will always be strong. You are my dear Mother of Perpetual Help! Thank you.

Your ever-grateful daughter.
