With a deeply grateful heart, I give thanks for your loving intercession. My grandson, who was recently diagnosed with a challenging medical condition, has received encouraging news at his follow-up review after two weeks of treatment. Though he is not yet completely out of the woods, we have seen signs of healing and mercy that fill our hearts with hope. I believe it is through your prayers that God has poured His compassion and grace upon this little child. We thank the Lord for His tender love, and for sustaining our family in this time of trial. Mother Mary, I entrust my grandson once more into your hands. Thank you, Mother, for standing with us in our time of need.
Your grateful daughter.
2. Dearest Mother Mary,
I want to thank you from the depths of my heart for all the times you have been present to me, through every season of my life. So often, I strayed far from your Son, sometimes lost, sometimes angry, and sometimes just tired of keeping faith. Even then, when my heart was closed and I felt distant from God and the Church, you still managed to reach me—always gentle, always patient—letting me know I was not alone. You have watched over me so lovingly, especially in those dark hours when I was weighed down by pain, confusion, and regret. Through failed relationships, betrayals, wounds from toxic people, saboteurs, schemes, losses, thieves in my own home, and even through the shadows of depression, anxiety, addiction, and fear, you never gave up on me. I know now, Mother, that you were there, praying for me and pleading for me before your Son, helping me find my way back to love and hope. Whenever I was ready to walk away or turn my back, it was your subtle, motherly whispers that moved my heart again. You nudged me to keep searching, to believe that forgiveness and home were still possible. And always, at the lowest points, you pointed me towards Jesus. In that silent love, you led me back to Him. Thank you, Mother, for never letting go of me, for interceding when I didn’t even know how to ask for help, and for loving me so fiercely in my weakness. You are my comfort, my companion, and my reminder that no failure is ever final as long as you are near and drawing me close to your Son. For all these things, and for the gift of your motherly presence in my life, I am, and always will be, deeply grateful. With all my love,
Your sinful Son.
3. Dearest Mother,
A few weeks ago I wrote to you with fear in my heart. I had an upcoming day surgery for an undiagnosed lump, and I was worried that it was serious. I cried to you, helpless and scared, and you collected my tears. Thankfully, the results came back fine, and I was filled with peace right before the surgery. It was calming knowing you were there with me, holding my hand, and going through it with me together. Thank you, Mother, for giving me strength and hope when I needed it most; for loving me, and interceding for me to your Son, our Lord Jesus. Through your intercession, love and care, I am recovering well and am more relieved than ever. Thank you for your endless devotion and love. Ever-grateful,
Your daughter.
4. Dear Mother of Perpetual Help,
I thank you for your intercession. I passed this term with good grades. Although the module I took was challenging, it was only possible because of your prayers and our Lord’s blessing, which gave me confidence during the exam. I will always be grateful.
Your loving son.
5. Dearest Mother of Perpetual Help,
No words can describe my gratitude for your intercession to Our Lord Jesus. I was literally down to my final months of savings before facing bankruptcy, as I was unable to find employment that could offset my financial commitments. As I knelt before you here at Novena Church, I knew you would save me like you did the wedding couple at Cana. True enough, I received a job offer that doubled my pay and would help me tide things over for a while. I want to thank you, Mother, for your intercession.
Your ever-grateful son.
6. Dear Mother Mary,
I have been asking for your intercession for my youngest daughter. She had sent many job applications and had gone for many job interviews over the past few months. Today, I was told she has a job offer with a government agency. Thank you so much Mother Mary for your intercession, love and help. Gratefully,
Your daughter.
7. Dearest Mother of Perpetual Help,
With a heart full of gratitude, I come before you to offer my humble thanks. Eight months ago, my wife was diagnosed with Stage 2 breast cancer. It was a time of fear, uncertainty, and many prayers. We turned to God the Father and to your Son, Jesus Christ, asking for strength and healing — and we sought your loving intercession with faith and trust. You, dear Mother, did not leave us alone. Through your prayers and constant presence, we felt peace in the storm. The surgery was successful, and we received the great mercy of learning that the cancer was not invasive. Now, as my wife continues her recovery under oral medication, we entrust her health to your loving care. Thank you, Blessed Mother, for your prayers, comfort, and powerful intercession during my wife’s illness. We are deeply grateful for your help and for the healing mercy of God.
Your grateful Son.
8. Dear Mama Mary,
I thank you from the bottom of my heart for interceding for us in our recent pilgrimage to the Holy Land. I thank the Lord for the invitation and the assurance when I heard him say “Let’s Go”. It was not an easy decision with the on-going conflict in the Middle East and battling with the concerns from family and friends, but you have always been by my side, praying and protecting us. Thank you for your motherly love for the pilgrims, the SD, Tour Manager, and guides in this group. Thank you for looking after our families back home, too. Thank you for praying for a spirit-filled experience for us all. To me, it was a miracle for us to have made this trip! I know it would not have been possible if not for your prayers and protection. Thank you, Mama.
