Thanksgiving – 10 September 2022

1. Dear Mother,

I am writing to you with a grateful heart. I wrote a petition some time ago and asked for your help in getting my child into a good Catholic primary school. We managed to secure a place and my son is very excited and happy as he looks forward to it.

Your Daughter.

2. Dearest Mother of Perpetual Help,

Thank you for helping my fiancé to secure a new job. We are very grateful to you for answering our prayers.

Your Loving Child.

3. Dearest Mother,

Thank you for the prayers and blessing on my mum who recently underwent breast surgery. The operation went well. Thank you for your protection.

Your Faithful Daughter.

4. Dear Mother Mary,

Thank you for interceding for my mother. I came to pray several times and can see a huge improvement in her mental health over the last few years.

Your Catholic Daughter.

5. Dearest Mother Mary,

Thank you very much for blessing us with our new home. Fill us with gratitude and joy.

Your Grateful Child.

6. Dear Mother,

Since I came to know you about 37 years ago, my life has been nothing but blessings and I believe it is only through your constant intercession that this can happen. The most recent blessing is when my son suddenly indicated his interest in becoming a Catechist. Since his confirmation 5 years ago, he became just a Sunday Catholic, so it is great to know that he now wishes to do more. Words cannot express my gratitude to you. Thank you, Mother.

7. Dear Mother of Perpetual Help,

Last year my wife and I went through a difficult time when we suffered a miscarriage very early in our marriage. Through your prayers and intercession, we were able to get through that dark period and look ahead with hope, as we are hoping to start our family soon. Recently we found out that my wife has conceived and is now 3 months pregnant. We are overjoyed and know that this can only be possible through your continued intercession. I know with all certainty that you never fail to pray with us and for us. Thank you, Mother Mary. We praise and thank God for all the blessings we have received.

Your Loving Son.

8. Dearest Mother Mary,

Thank you so much for answering our prayers for our elder brother. The doctor told him he needed a liver transplant last year and he was put on the waiting list for a donor. We came to your shrine to pray for your intercession. Some months later after many blood tests and scans, the doctor informed that his results were stable and he didn’t need a transplant. We know it’s only through your prayers and intercession to our Lord that this is possible. Thank you for your love and care for him and for being there for us.

Your Loving Catholic Daughter.

9. Dear Mother,

Thank you for protecting me from bullies in my workplace. Thank you for hearing me out and acting on my behalf to reject their bad behavior. Thank you for always being with me whenever I feel down at work.

Your Daughter.

10. Dearest Mother,

Thank you for your grace and blessing. My daughter has passed her exams.

Your Non-Catholic Daughter.

11. Dear Mother,

Thank you for the prayers answered and your prayers have given me hope.

Your Daughter.

12. Dearest Mother,

This is our first thanksgiving letter. We have been attending the Novena Devotion for the past 47 years. Throughout these years, we have received countless blessings, graces and favours through your intercession. We want to express our heartfelt thanks and gratitude to you and your Son, our Lord Jesus Christ. All the times we came to you, you have never failed us.

Your Grateful Catholic Family.
