Thanksgiving – 1 October 2022

1.Thank you, Mary Mother, during the covid 19 period I was not able to attend the devotions in person. I went for online devotions and made a commitment to be on time for the devotions at church. You gave me hope and peace and stilled my heart. Thank you for helping me to change and to take away the urge to gamble and focus on you. Thank you so much Mother Mary.

2. Dear Mother of Perpetual Help,

This is a long overdue letter of thanksgiving. I am ever so grateful for the many blessings you have given me. From being a non-Catholic to a baptised Catholic it is all thanks to you for the help to overcome the countless obstacles that I endured even on the day of my baptism. Today I stand before you as your proud Catholic daughter. My battle is not over but I will never stop my devotion to you and trust in the Lord. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Your Loving Catholic Daughter.

3. My Dearest Mother of Perpetual help, I would like to thank you from the bottom of my heart for giving my husband and me the courage & wisdom to go through the very challenging time when my daughter was hospitalised. We were not aware of her pregnancy and it came as a very rude shock for us. I prayed to you to help us to go through this smoothly. My husband and the doctors at the hospital were very helpful and everything went on well during her stay there. My daughter is not married and is only 20 years old. This got us to reflect on our parenting style as both of us were very protective over her. I prayed to you with all my heart and you heard my prayers. Thank you so much, Mother and I love you! Please guide us and always be there for us.

Your Non-Catholic Daughter.

4. Thank you, Mother Mary for being with me always especially thank you for the last 3 months when I was going through an emotionally dark time. I turned to you and your Son and never gave up for I knew my devotion to you and your Son would see me through. I am able to manage my emotions and thoughts positively and am able to manage my fears. You have led me to encounter people who can help me and give me strategies to cope and dismiss the darkness. You have put hope and strength in my heart that I will always know your Son, Jesus is in charge and he will protect us all. Thank you, Mother Mary for all the love and support.

5. Thank you, Dearest Mother Mary for your prayers. I had a safe and enjoyable trip to Bangkok with friends while the kids were at home in safe care. With your intercession, I managed to avoid an accident as I rushed around without first checking and had a close brush with a motorcycle. I am thankful for your intercession and protection that no one was hurt. I thank you my dearest Mother.

6. Dear Mother Mary,

My birthday will be soon. When I was born, my mom chose to name me after you. Thank you for all the blessings in my life. I know that you are always protecting me.

7. Dear Mother Mary,

Thank you for interceding for my husband who is now coping well and abstaining from alcohol. His mental health has also improved in the 2 months and our family is much happier than before. We praise and thank God for all the blessings we have received.

Your Faithful Daughter.
