Thanksgiving – 1 Jun 2019

  1. Dearest Mother Mary,

I would like to thank you for hearing my prayers. I was having a difficult time in my previous work place. I came to you and prayed for a better job and future. You heard my prayers and within a week I got calls from a few companies for interviews. I came to you and prayed again before going for the interviews and again within a week, I received a call saying that I had been selected. I was overjoyed. I am thankful that you heard my prayers.

  1. Dearest Mother of Perpetual Help,

I’ll forever feel grateful to you for a few miraculous healings on me and my husband. After praying to your Son through your intercession, we were healed unexpectedly. I’ll definitely share with others yours and your Son’s good works for us.

Your Grateful Daughter.

  1. Dearest Mother,

I have been visiting your shrine for 10 years. I am not a Christian by birth nor have I converted. Whenever I come to your shrine to seek solace, you have never failed to answer my prayers. Your love towards me cannot be measured by words. I remembered the first time I visited your shrine, asking for a baby way back in 2010. I had 2 miscarriages before and I came to pray to you and you answered my prayers. Today, I have a daughter aged 8 and a son aged 6. You have always showered me with all of your love and without you, I will not be where I am now.

Your Loving Daughter.

  1. Dear Mother Mary,

I give thanks for a humble, simple mother who gave me unconditional love, protection and joy whenever I am with her. The many birthday celebrations that all our families celebrated with her are most cherished and we are thankful to God that we did our duties to look after her till she left us in 2007. As a mother myself, I pray for God’s grace, blessing, protection and love for our families. Love is the greatest gift we receive and may we love one another as God loves us.

  1. Dearest Mother,

Thank you for interceding in my prayers for my husband. He is a hardworking and responsible man. I prayed that he would win an organisation award and promotion in his company. Not only did he win, he won the top award. I am forever grateful that you have been watching over us.

Your Loving Children.

  1. Dearest Mother of Perpetual Help,

My gratitude for all the guidance, help and intercession that you have shown me all these years. I am always awed, amazed and in wonder of your motherly strength, compassion and the merciful love that you have shown me, especially during my lowest point in my health.

Your Grateful Son.

  1. Dearest Mother of Perpetual Help,

I am very sorry for this late thanksgiving letter. In 2017, I needed to pass an eye test to get my driving licence validated. I had poor eyesight and my doctor said nothing could be done and to give up driving. I prayed fervently and desperately to you to help me. Things looked hopeless but somehow I knew that through your prayers, God will make a way when there seems to be no way. And He did, He made a way. God’s message to me was to change doctor and I did and everything fell into place.

Your Devoted Daughter.

  1. Dearest Mother Mary,

I am 74 years old. I do not know how to thank you and your beloved Son for all the blessings showered upon me. Thank you for being there for me in times of need and through your intercession to our Lord Jesus, many of my prayers were answered.

Your Loving Child.

  1. Dearest Mother,

My wife and I wrote to you in March 2019 to bless my son and daughter in-law with a baby. They have been married for 3 years and was not able to conceive. Through our daily prayers and petitions to you, our prayers have been answered. No words can describe the joy both of us had when we were told last Saturday that she is 5 weeks pregnant. As in the scriptures, nothing is impossible to God. We are very grateful to you for answering out petitions.

Your Grateful Son.

  1. Dearest Mother Mary,

Thank you for helping my neighbour’s son to get through his exams. He had been struggling with obsessive compulsive disorder and this was truly worrying for his parents. Through your intercession, he has improved enough to sit for his exams which was not possible for him to do last year.
