Months back when I was at your feet crying to save my mum, I knew, Mother, you would not forsake me. 8 months on and I am now saying thank you Mother for your prayers. My mum is completely healed from colon cancer. She has put on some weight and she is so much better today. She is able to walk on her own and even cook her own meals. I thank you Mother, for all your blessings, love and protection for my mum. We love you and I cannot thank you enough. You were the only one who stood by me in my most trying times.

This thanksgiving letter is way overdue. Pardon me for my procrastination. Mother, I wrote to you for your intercession when my daughter was scheduled for a procedure to remove suspicious lumps in each breast for a biopsy at Mount Alvernia Hospital. We were very concerned for her. What a great relief for our families when the doctor confirmed that the lumps were benign. She was given a clean bill of health but continues with regular reviews by her specialist. Please continue to keep her in good health. Thank you, dearest loving Mother for your intercession.

Thank you very much for helping our son to get out of a relationship that would have compromised his Catholic faith and values. It is through your intercession that he was able to do it. Please see him through this difficult time and the emotional setbacks he has experienced.

Thank you for taking care of our grandson. He turned two years old today. I have been praying to you and asking your help for him to be a strong, healthy, good, intelligent and God-loving boy. Please continue to intercede and pray for him and his parents to bring him up to be a God-loving son and for my wife who takes care of him during the daytime. Protect him from harm, injuries, sickness and accidents when he starts going to play in school, when he is at home and when he goes to the playground or other places with his parents. 7. Dearest Mother,
Last month my mother fell down on the road while coming back from the Church. Her knees were hurt and her head hit on the road. We took her to the doctor. Luckily there are no major issues and her head is ok. She is 79 years old. Thank you for protecting her from any serious injury. Now she is fully recovered. Thank you, sweet Mother.

8. Dear Mother of Perpetual Help,
Last week I wrote to seek your intercession for a friend’s 9-month old nephew who was warded in hospital for breathing difficulties. He was in the High Dependency Ward because his condition was serious. The poor boy was gasping for air and had to be tube fed. I also asked my friend who is a non-catholic, to come to your shrine to pray for your intercession. She did so on Saturday. Later that evening, his condition improved and he could have his oxygen mask removed. He had been using the oxygen mask for a week. Yesterday he was transferred to the normal ward. Today, he was finally discharged. This is truly a miracle brought about through your loving intercession. We are so grateful dearest Mother for once again you have proven that you are always listening to our petitions and praying for us.

My children and I came to your shrine 2 weeks ago asking for your prayers for good weather in Japan. We were flying to Japan that week and they were having very severe flooding and mudslides. The train service was even suspended for a period of time. We were taking the train service between Osaka and Tokyo. When we were there for 10 days, the weather was miraculously fine and sunny. No doubt God was blessing us with fantastic weather. Thank you so much for your prayers dear Mother.
