Thanksgiving – 1 Dec 2018

1. Dearest Mother Mary,

I have passed my PSLE and am able to go to the Express Stream which I never thought I could. You have helped me to make the impossible – possible.

2. Dearest Mother of Perpetual Help,

We have waited for years after my daughter lost her first born. Now that she is expecting, we are very happy for her and pray that this baby will strengthen their marriage.

3. Dearest Mother,

Thank you for all the graces that you have bestowed upon me through the years. I came here for the first time from Malaysia to say how grateful I am and to give thanks to you and your Son, Jesus. You are indeed a mother full of graces and are kind towards everyone who ask for help.

I have been here for holiday since 4 November. I have been attending the lunch time Mass and devotion in Novena Church. Thank you for being with me during my stay in Singapore.

5. Dearest Mother,

This is a very long overdue letter, words cannot express my gratefulness to you for interceding for my grandson. He was not sentenced to jail but is out on probation.

Thank you for being my Mother all these years since I was a teenager. Even when I lost faith and stopped praying for many years, you have always been there for me with open arms.

7. Dear Mother Mary,

My wife and I are very thankful that our 2-month old daughter was discharged from the hospital after staying there for 2 nights due to a viral fever. She has since recovered and was baptised on 18 November. We are very blessed to welcome her into the faith and we continue to pray to be good role models for our children. Once again, thank you loving Mother for always watching over us.

I wrote a petition last week praying for my parents’ relationship and they have been happy with one another for the past week.

10. Dear Mother of Perpetual Help,

My husband has passed his probationary period in his work and we would like to thank you for your intercession. The past 6 months have been quite tough for him but with your loving grace, he surpassed all the difficult trials.

Thank you for everything even though I have so often sinned, you have always loved me. You continued to intercede for me and my family, answered our prayers and heard our cries.

    I thank you with a grateful heart for praying for my son. He was offered a job recently and even though this is a short-term contract, we trust that God will lead and guide him through.
