Petitions – 4 Aug 2018

  1. Dear Mother, please pray for me to have the strength to continue my journey as an invalid. I also pray for healing of my Rheumatoid Arthritis in my hands and wrists.

 

  1. Please intercede for the well-being of my family and for good health and healing, for safety and for peace and love to reign in our home.

 

  1. Mother Mary, please pray for my son to secure a job. He has been retrenched and he has two teenage daughters who will be going for their tertiary education.

 

  1. Dear Mother Mary, I pray for my husband who is lost, weak and confused. He has not been faithful and I pray for our marriage to be restored. Please help us find a way out to resolve the issues.

 

  1. Please help my neighbour whose family has to leave the house to avoid harassment from loan sharks. They have been away from their home, living in a relative’s home for a year.

 

  1. Please continue to pray for my daughter to recover fully from her Eating Disorder and to lead her life fully.

 

  1. Please grant me the strength to be a better person with a stronger will to overcome my weakness and to improve myself spiritually and mentally. Please give me the will to return to Church to worship your Son.

 

  1. My husband had a heart procedure done a few months ago. According to the doctors he needs to exercise to stay healthy. However, no matter how much I’ve tried to get him to exercise he just refuses, please Mother, help him realise the importance of staying healthy in order to help out in the RCIA and bible studies that he likes.

 

  1. Dearest Mother Mary, please ask the Lord to give me the wisdom to be strong and able to handle the unreasonable behaviour of others calmly.

 

  1. I am praying that you will keep our family safe and in good health. Help us in our financial needs to sustain our daily living and to pay our debts.
