Novena Church presents “Advent with Alphonsus”, an Advent cum Christmas recollection from 13th Dec to 16th Dec 2022, 8:00pm to 9.30pm.
The themes for the 4 days are:
Dec 13th (Tuesday) – Seeking; Jesus himself seeks those who are lost, the sick in need of healing, and sinners in need of Redemption.
Dec 14th (Wednesday) – Waiting; God the Father allowed four thousand years to pass after Adam’s sin before sending his son Jesus so that we may not underestimate the greatness of the grace of being redeemed by our Saviour.
Dec 15th (Thursday) – Naming; in the name of Jesus, Salvation is found (Acts 4:12). God makes it possible for every man to call upon his name and to find in the name Light, Support, and Healing.
Dec 16th (Friday) – Trusting; in trusting and accepting to be the Mother of Jesus, Mary became our Mother also.
Here are some highlights for the recollection:

- Recollection starts with Advent music and reflection
- Songs followed by Adoration with the Blessed Sacraments
- Sharing and finding what we are waiting this Advent
