Thanksgiving – 28 Sep 2019

1. Dearest Mother Mary,

My husband and I would like to thank you and our Lord for all the blessings we have received. This month is special for us as we are celebrating our 59^th wedding anniversary, our grand-daughters’, my two sons’ and two nephews’ birthdays. A big thank you for looking after us all the years.

2. Dearest Mother,

Thank you so much for the reconciliation of our daughter with her family. You have always being by her side guiding her all the way. Please continue to guide her back to Jesus Christ. Let her not be afraid to seek God’s direction in her life journey.

3. Dear Mother Mary,

Thank you for praying for my daughter who has just returned safely from an adventurous trip. It is through your prayers and intercession to your Son, our Lord Jesus Christ that she was kept safe all the time. Please pray for her to get a right man in her life, a Christian and together to serve the Lord and glorify His name always.

4. Dearest Mother,

I would like to thank you for answering my petition. Through your intercession, my daughter-in-law is now pregnant. The baby will be born on 8^th October 2019 which coincides with my late husband’s birthday. I am sure he will be very happy to know the good news, too. All along he had been looking forward to have a grandchild. Now his wish has finally come true. Unfortunately, he could not wait to see his grandchild. I just pray that my daughter-in-law’s pregnancy will be a smooth one. I also pray that the baby will be healthy and the delivery will be safe and problem free for both mother and child.

5. Dearest Mother of Perpetual Help,

I would like to thank God and you for the many blessings given for the birth of my daughter, despite a very difficult labour that my wife had to undergo. I went to your shrine to ask for the assurance and you have most kindly heard my prayer, even though I am a sinner. Thank you so much, dearest Mother, for the kindness I do not deserve.

6. Dearest Mother of Perpetual Help,

I am writing this letter to thank you for your prayers and intercession for my uncle for his successful heart by-pass surgery on 17^th September 2019. He had 5 grafts done and is recovering. This is a new lease of life for him. May he be appreciative of Jesus’ love for him and please bring him back to church.

7. Dearest Mother,

My daughter is blessed to have another pregnancy and I would like to give thanks to you. Her first pregnancy ended in a miscarriage and it affected her and her husband quite badly. However, through prayers and by God’s grace, they were able to overcome the setback. Dear Mother, now that my daughter is pregnant again, please intercede to Jesus for her to have a safe pregnancy with the birth of a normal and healthy baby. Once again, thank you Jesus and dearest Mother for this gift of pregnancy for my daughter and her husband.

8. Dearest Mother of Perpetual Help,

I came to you with my tax problems, sinful and sorrowful and you did not despise my pleas but you have helped me to overcome the first hurdle and I am sure that the rest of the Income Tax problems will be resolved.

9. Dearest Mother Mary,

Thank you for helping my son in getting a job after he left his previous job 10 months ago. I pray that you will always bless him and take care of him. Keep him safe from harm and danger in his job.
