Dearest Mother Mary,
Please accept this sincere letter of thanks for your kind intercession to our Lord Jesus. In mid-November 2018, my husband was admitted to a hospital for surgery of the colon. The surgery was a success, but complications developed later and subsequently he had a heart attack. All this while, he was on the intravenous drip as he could not consume food orally.
I was devastated and depressed, but I held on to you for dear help. You and our Lord Jesus gave me the strength and hope during this difficult period. I attended Mass and recited the Rosary daily. On Christmas Day 25 Dec 2018, my husband recovered from his illness. After a period of one and a half months in the hospital, God ‘saved’ him and gave him a chance to praise and glorify him again.
Thank you, dear Mother and Lord Jesus for the best Christmas gift you have given to my family. We will continue to be ever mindful of this great favour granted by God and to always honour you as our Heavenly Mother.
Your Grateful Daughter.

Dearest Mother of Perpetual Help,
Thank you for everything you’ve done for me, I really appreciate it. My new school year has just begun. I want to thank you for making my first few days in school so pleasant and that the teachers I have are all pretty nice. I hope you will help me to focus this year and get good results. Please also bless my family to be safe, happy and healthy.
Your Loving Child.

Dearest Mother,
As the year 2018 draws to an end, I am very grateful for your intercession and prayers and graces from your Son, Jesus. Everything went smoothly until in July when I was diagnosed with stage 1 breast cancer. I went for a mastectomy. I am still thankful to you and your Son as I only need to take pills and need not got for chemotherapy or radiation. I am back to my normal self now except for some minor side-effects. I pray dearest Mother, that you will continue to look after me as I am 72 years old and alone. I love you, Mother and your Son, my Saviour, always.
Your Ever-Grateful Daughter.

Dear Mother Mary,
This letter is written with much gratitude for all that you have interceded for me in 2018. It was a year of change; the first year without my dear mother who passed away in 2017. I missed her dearly! Change has also led to my husband and I selling our home of 20 years to move on to a new chapter in our lives as we prepare for retirement. Change too, for me interiorly as I continue to grow in faith, entrusting more of my work life to you and your Son. I have been wanting to leave my current work place of 13 years for a long time but I just could not find anything suitable. I have pondered over this and have come to a conclusion that in God’s own time, His plan will come to fruition, as the prophet Jeremiah says: ‘For I know I have plans for you, plans to prosper you and not to harm you; plans to give you hope and a future.’ You and your Son, have truly guided me through this year of ups and downs and I am eternally gratefully.

Dearest Mother,
Last year when I came to ask you for your prayers. I was filled with grief and fear and was spiralling into depression. But within two weeks of submitting my petition, I had my first glimmer of hope when God opened the first door of opportunity for me. I thank God for this opportunity, obtained through your powerful intercession. Thank you, Mother for your prayers. I thank God for giving us recourse to you in our darkest hour.
Your Grateful Daughter.

Dearest Mother of Perpetual Help,
I cannot thank you enough for saying ‘yes’ to Jesus. My husband and I are so grateful to have you as our Heavenly Mother. We have had 30 over years of happy married life. We thank you for your many intercessions and answered prayers. We have now come to the “crossroads” of our life. We once again ask for your intercession for the healing of his memory. Help us to decide where we should spend our years as we age and get older. The last thing we want is to be a burden on our loved ones. My husband is a very kind and loving man and the last thing I would want is to put him in a home. Mother Mary, please help us intercede with your Son, for what is best for us.
Your Daughter.

Dearest Mother of Perpetual Help,
Thanks-a-million for your intercession for our family. After several years of pain and strife and turmoil, we are deeply grateful to God for bringing about a reconciliation between my mother and me. Thank you for healing our family’s deep wounds. We are grateful and we thank you from the bottom of our heart.
Your Loving Daughter.

Dearest Mother Mary,
This is a long overdue letter. I should have written this months ago but I was so preoccupied with a lot of things that I overlooked the most important thing which is to thank you wholeheartedly for all the blessings me and my family received from God for the past year.
My kidney stone was a great threat to my health and the pain bothered me a lot. Last October, I was scheduled for a procedure to break the stones into small particles. Thank you, dearest Mother, because the procedure was really a success. I am very grateful for your intercession, dearest Mother.
Your Grateful Child.

Dearest Mother of Perpetual Help,
Thank you for your prayers and intercession. I prayed that my son’s wedding would go smoothly. It is an inter-faith and a cross-cultural relationship. All went well with a beautiful church ceremony. Please, Mother, continue to pray for them, keep them always close to you as they start married life and be with them as they grow and develop as husband and wife.
Your Grateful Daughter.

Dearest Mother of Perpetual Help,
Please forgive me for this very, very long delayed thanksgiving letter. My mind and heart will not be settled if I do not write this thanksgiving letter to you by today, the last day of the year 2018. After my husband’s business failed, I was very worried as to how to support all my 5 children, especially with their education as they are all boys. But it was through your loving intercession to your Son, Jesus, that they all managed to go through their university education locally and overseas as well. Mother, you were always there for us all these years. Please continue to help me to be faithful, holy, obedient and committed to you and Jesus, for all the blessings, love, mercy and forgiveness showered upon me and my family.
Your Loving Catholic Daughter.

Dearest Mother,
Today marks the last day of 2018 and I sometimes forget to thank you and your Son, Jesus, for helping me lead my life joyously in so many ways. I really appreciate you and Jesus for being the most important part of my life – in sadness and in happiness. I thank you for the small family I have and I treasure them. Once again, dearest Mother, thank you for the countless blessings you have showered on me and my family. Help us to continue to grow in our faith day by day and to be happy taking one day at a time.
Your Loving Child.
