Introduction
In line with the Redemptorist Charism and the vision and mission of Novena Church, the Children’s Ministry seeks to serve children who frequently attend Novena Church but may not have access to catechism classes in their respective parishes.
This ministry responds to a pastoral need — to ensure that no child who comes to Novena Church is left without spiritual care, formation, and a sense of belonging.
Mission
To provide spiritual formation and accompaniment through Redemptorist formation by:
-
Providing a monthly Children’s Mass that is meaningful and engaging
-
Offering age-appropriate Redemptorist formation rooted in Scripture, prayer, and values
-
Encouraging children’s active participation in the liturgy (readers, choir, offertory, skits during the homily)
-
Building a vibrant children’s choir that enriches the liturgy
-
Fostering a community of children who grow in love for Jesus, the Eucharist, Mother Mary, and St. Alphonsus
