It has been about a month-and-a-half since I left Singapore for Melbourne to study for my Masters’ degree. The first few days of being in Melbourne seemed daunting but with the Lord’s grace, I got over that phase. Now I am pretty well settled, halfway into my semester and completing my assignments along the way. Being abroad alone is a huge learning curve, sometimes you gain and lose things along the way, but I have learnt to take all these in my stride as time passes. I can be anxious and worried when things don’t go my way, but I have learnt that everything happens for a reason. I ask that you guide me and keep me healthy physically and mentally even as I go through this semester. Thank you for always being there for me.

Please intercede for my friend that she will recover from her cancer, so that she can see her 5 children growing up. I pray that she will remain optimistic, and one day discover the love of God and place her trust in Him. Thank you, Mother Mary.
5. Dearest Mother Mary,
I have encountered a problem at work. Please intercede to your Son Jesus to resolve my work problem. It has been plaguing me for a few months, causing me a lot of stress, and making me depressed. Please pray for it to end and that Jesus will help me keep my job.
6. Dear Mother,
Please help my husband and me to be more loving and communicative as a couple and to be good parents to our children.
7. Dear Mother,
Please keep my immediate and extended family members safe and well. Keep us loving and united as a family. Please help my 2nd brother who is a cancer-survivor to remain cancer-free and to manage his other health issues well. Help him also to have a better understanding of church teachings and become a good Catholic.
8. Dear Mother,
My brother and daughter appear to be drifting further and further apart. Please guide them back together. It is painful to witness the broken bond. Can only cry to you.
9. Dear Mother Mary,
Pease pray about my job, finances and matters of the heart. Especially at my age of 34. I feel so behind everyone.
10. Dearest Mother Mary,
With a humble heart, I entrust my daughter into your loving care as she pursues her studies abroad. Protect her from all harm and guide her in faith, wisdom, and strength. Bless her studies, surround her with good friends and caring mentors, and comfort her whenever she feels alone. Remind her always that you and Jesus are with her. Mother Mary, watch over her, pray for her, and keep her safe under your motherly protection. Amen.
11. Dear Mother Mary,
I humbly ask for your intercession to your son Jesus Christ, that I may find a job soon after 8.5 years of unemployment, so I can support myself and my family-especially now as we’re expecting our first child. It is getting increasingly difficult financially and mentally, and I am losing self-esteem and confidence. Please pray for me and guide me.

12. For peace and humanity in the world today, and all the children who are suffering from hunger. Good mammogram results for my sister and I recovery will be cancer-free, for my sons make the right decisions in their lives, please protect them and keep them safe.
